I have had this problem before, i thought i fixed it but it came back, i am having spikes of lag where it freezes for a second or more, and i have no idea what to do, i have tried the JVM Arguments i have looked around and none worked, mostly the defult with just -4Xmx, and this one;
Changing it to 5 seems to work better, the skips are there, but not as huge as other, still taking a ton of memory still, wish i could get more RAM but i have no money to buy it, i am still using the Reddit one by the way to test it for now
I just dont understand why it takes so much, its minecraft and my computer is pretty good i should not have this much problem, even the mods should not be causing this much problems, just if i add like a mod or so, i have problems with the frame skipping, i want to be able to end it forever but that will never happen. I now have 6 GB of ram in minecraft and i still have problems when i have youtube playing as well, i really dont think this problem should be even a problem

Because the code in MC is crap. Even Crysis, BF, and GTA run well when a small game like MC does not. Some modpacks take 5-10 minutes to load! Pitiful, Mojang!

Maybe, it's really hard to say to be honest, I have not played MC in awhile and I just felt like wanting to try it again a couple of months ago, it could very well be just of my mods that is messing this up, or minecraft it self, it can't be because of a poor computer, my computer is only like a year or two old, maybe i just need to either play vanilla MC or see if i can get even more RAM and see if that fixes it, it could very well be Java only that is messing this up, i am not a minecraft or computer expert, i just know simple things, like how to drag and drop mods in the mod file

I have no idea what i am doing wrong, or if it's just one mod messing with the whole thing, any and all help would be wounderful
You're running out of RAM still. How much do you have in total?
8 GB of Ram in total
Ok if it doesn't work with 5 gigs your options are to either install more RAM or reduce the amount of mods.
