Hello all, I'm currently experiencing issues with a certain MC server and I have no clue as to why. For one, the server shows up properly on the 'player multiplayer' screen
and if I try to connect, I get past the 'logging in' screen, onto 'loading terrain', and my games hangs there for around 30 seconds before either putting me into an unresponsive state on the server (where I can walk around but can't interact with anything (no packets received/sent)) and then kicking me with one of these messages
Note: I'm well aware that MC kicks players who are unresponsive for 30+ seconds
Note 2: I've tried other FTB Revelation 2.0.0 servers and they all work completely normally
or just kicking me without letting me 'get onto' the server. After looking into my client logs, it appears to be a timeout issue
(Server I'm trying to log onto)

I have no clue as to what can possibly be wrong (the connection appears to be all fine)
I've tried pinging the server (and other servers and websites) and they all work properly:
I've looked at my firewall and have allowed Java on both private and public networks
I've tried toggling my firewall
I've checked if something else is using that port
I've tried restarting the wifi on my computer
I've tried restarting my computer
I've tried restarting my game
I've tried lowering graphics settings
None of these things have worked or have helped me find the issue
---------------------
Everyone else is able to log on to that server properly except for me, and all other servers work correctly for me. Is there something else that I have not done yet?
I need help
P.S. My first attempt joining the modded server was when it was first set up erroneously as a vanilla server. That time, I was able to log on, and do all of the normal things on a MC server before we realized no mods had actually been installed and the server was turned off.
That second server you logged into was mine. It is a very classic Revelations 2.0 server(Nothing much custom).
It appears that first server isn't delivering chunk data fast enough. You can try to join again and keep movement slow.
I was able to log into it without anything special, so just try again.
This is what I have for my server settings, Re-Tuned for Java 8. Please note the -Dfml.readTimeout=90, This can be applied to your java client as well to allow more time prior to disconnecting.

Hello all, I'm currently experiencing issues with a certain MC server and I have no clue as to why. For one, the server shows up properly on the 'player multiplayer' screen

Note: I'm well aware that MC kicks players who are unresponsive for 30+ seconds
Note 2: I've tried other FTB Revelation 2.0.0 servers and they all work completely normally
http://prntscr.com/jtfz1a

or just kicking me without letting me 'get onto' the server. After looking into my client logs, it appears to be a timeout issue
