Not just my skin, but other players skins, do not show on my game. Everyone else sees my skin and each others just fine, which leads me to believe it is an issue on my end. I have reinstalled Optifine, Java, and Minecraft in hopes of fixing it but to no avail. Is there any other tips toward solving the issue?
Edit: I have checked the list of programs that "mess with minecraft" as is in the FAQ and none were installed to be removed, meaning there is a separate issue here.
It has been going on for weeks, and i doubt the servers have been down that long or that often when I am on. as a server, when we complete large projects we f5 and screenshot a selfi to post on discord, and everyone else sees there skins AND my own skin while at the exact same time i see no ones skin. It is not a connectivity issue, as it hase been happening through both great internet and lesser so connection as well as the fact that lack of internet connection before this issue occurred, never stopped my skin from showing on single player.
Also, Im not sure if this matters, but the issue never happened until i got my new windows 10 computer, and i dont recall a time in the past 2 month or so that ive had this computer where i saw anything besides a players base model.
Edit: i first noticed i couldn't see skins after the server reset, as with my schedule at the time and when the server was down for a new seed and world to be started. this reset was about a month ago and before it, i mainly on singleplayer creative and wasn't paying attention to my skin, nor really looking at the inventory menu because i had a color palate i could use pick to get the blocks from. but since I noticed it, I have been actively looking up the reasons why but no amount of reinstalling of minecraft/optifine/or java has helped.
I've seen this on other computers, and the only thing I can think of is something (anti-virus, firewall, etc) is blocking the connection to the skins server for some reason. I could never figure out a fix, though, as turning off anti-virus and firewalls didn't fix it, at least on the machine I was working on. I could never get skins to work on that computer, but it also has windows 10, so who knows? But you might have better luck. A quick look for the actual IP of the skins server came up with nothing helpful, I was thinking if you could ping the actual server and see if you can connect, that would be a start, but I don't see anywhere a way to find that IP.

Minecraft skins servers may have been down the time you were playing.
If not it may be a case of a slow internet connection on your side.
