a friend of mine has a Laptop which has an I5-6200u with an Nvidia 940MX. If he run Minecraft with the integrated Intel HD graphicsprocessor, the game does run pretty well but here and there he has low fps. So he wants to use the 940MX, but if he wants to use it, the game shows some strange graphic bugs (click for picture). Drivers are 1-2 months old but he has the problem for many months now and installed the newest graphics driver again and again. So that would not work.
Edit:// This was tested with (vanilla) Minecraft 1.8.8, Minecraft 1.12.2, Optifine 1.8.8 and LabyMod 1.8.8
Have him maximize his window instead of full screen. With some laptops (like mine) that have Optimus battery tech and an Nvidia graphics card and on Windows 10 after a certain update, you will get screen tearing issues. For some reason maximizing your window doesn't have the same effects as the fullscreen. If that doesn't work, maybe try going back to the oldest driver you can for the graphics and don't update it.
He is not good when it comes to pc stuff and he cant speak english very well. So he asked me to try my best. Any other suggestion which may can help? All stuff that has been suggested does not help.
All chunks do look like this. Singleplayer and Multiplayer. But we tried different view ranges just in case. Didn't solved the problem. We tested 2 chunks, 4, 8, 10 and 16.

Any other suggestions what we can try to fix it?
This looks like a chunk error. Maybe try turning your render distance down a bit.
If Anti Aliasing is turned on in nVidea control panel, turn it off.
If that doesn't fix it, try turning other things in the nVidea control panel on and off.

We tried windows, maximized and borderless window mode. The problem is still there.

Good Idea, had some issues with that in the past as well. But its does not help here to turn AA off.
