I launched Minecraft for the first time in a couple of months an received the "Unexpected Issue" crash error. I've tried updating Java to the latest version as well as my graphics card drivers with no success.
The error log seems to indicate that it's a graphics issue, since there was a fatal error from an OpenGL related exception.
Thanks, I didn't realize there were special instructions for reinstalling MC.
So I did that and was able to launch the game successfully into my existing save file.
Everything seemed fine, until I tried to set the game to Full Screen mode in the Video settings. The game immediately crashed again and I was not able to start it up unless I deleted everything in .minecraft folder once more. I can play with the window maximized, so for now, that'll have to do, until I can figure out the crashing.
Minecraft Version: 1.12.2
Launcher Version: 2.0.1003
Windows 10
Java 8 update 151
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon RX 480

What can I do to fix this? Are there launch options that I have to set?
Reinstall MC from scratch.
Uninstalling and reinstalling did not work. I've still got the same error messages in the log.
I uninstalled from Windows' Control Panel and reinstalled with the installer from Minecraft.net, unless there's another way I should have done it.
There are plenty of tutorials on the googles. http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/guides/reinstalling-minecraft/
