I've run around in circles a bit trying to resolve this. Updated my driver. I always select it manually. Disabled all of Comodo for 15 minutes and got the download error for pt pt lang instead of pt br lang. The common malware program culprit is not installed. I've already downloaded and run HJT. Here is the link:
My wife is having the same problem on her laptop as well. I haven't tried anything to fix hers yet. The desktop running Win 10 is not having any issues. We can only run 1.9 versions under Win 7 Ultimate on our laptops.
I'll just uninstall Minecraft. I'm pretty sure the Akamai could go away without interrupting whichever game it pertains to. But I'm not giving up Comodo. I've been using it for years. And it is the second thing installed on every computer in my house. Unless Mojang can fix their game to be secure, or go to the trouble of clearing it with the antivirus community, I can't afford to be their customer. It isn't worth the risk.
Thank you for taking the time to look through the file and determine which applications are contributing to the problem. I do appreciate your help.
The thing I like most about Comodo is that it asks me about everything that it doesn't clear. I use a lot of software that is not on their radar. And anytime I reload windows and start installing the 20 or so programs that I can remember that I'm going to need (out of 30 or so), I get asked to mark them one by one. It's somewhat painstaking. But it keeps my work laptop locked down from running rogue files. I checked to make sure that it wasn't blocking, and even disabled all things Comodo to verify if it was the source of the problem before digging in the forums for a solution.
Minecraft is listed in my trusted programs. And nothing was logged there after trying to open any version after 9.X. And we don't have any problems with Adobe Cloud, iTunes, multiple browsers, or anything else including other games after updates. I'll look up Akimai to remind me what I'm about to break by blocking it from executing with Comodo. Then I'll try again and see if that is the problem.

The problem is with Comodo marking things that auto update(so your browser, adobe products, itunes, etc, etc, etc) as malware, not just with Minecraft

Thanks for the greater detail.
There are many better programs than Comodo, like Avast or Sophos, that dont cause as many issues as Comodo causes
Also, Akamai is also known to cause issues
