So i was trying to do some server stuff and i started lagging after 20 minutes of play. I ruled out server problems by going single player and still got the problem. I figured it had to be my mods so i deleted my .minecraft and re-installed launcher. I go into fresh single player world in creative. I fly around and watch as my memory goes up and up as i render new areas it keeps rising until it reaches the set maximum of 2G to which it will lag and become unplayable almost instantly. I have re-installed 3 times, each time also deleting my .minecraft and going fresh and pure vanilla single player and still get the issue. I also re-installed the most recent version of java, no dice.
Do you expect the game to constantly generate new chunks as you fly around in creative and keep up with your render distance set to 32? Do you even have any idea how many chunks that is?
Thanks for the response tails. the problem also exists with render set to minimum it just lasts longer. I usually run about 12, i just set it to 32 to get there faster so i could take those screenshots.
My problem isn't that i lag in game, it is that it never "let's go" of memory. So if i ever go traveling in my minecraft world my memory (looking at task manager) slowly creeps up until i reach i guess the maximum allotted ram then it suddenly goes from smooth to 1 fps.

Any advise?

here is what it was
-Xmx1G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn128M

Thats the GC having to run in a big chunk instead of small chunks, dont allocate more than the default 1G and dont go to render distance 32
