My mouse started to move too much and its not drifting like other users. When i try to turn normally, sometimes, the mouse just starts turning. I know its not a problem with my mouse, since its new and i tried to use my keypad (i'm using a laptop) the problem still persists. And it only happens while playing in a Minecraft world or server or anything in minecraft. I have tried everything i can. i checked the box in the compatibility settings, i restarted my my computer, I updated my graphic card driver, i unchecked the enhance pointer position, everything!
I'm using a dell laptop on windows 7, i play on full screen mode, and I use optifine. What can i do?!?! Its so annoying and i cant even play minecraft properly! It started a few weeks ago, i tried to uninstall software, but that didnt work. I switched to a laptop in November 2016 because my computer cant play minecraft on windows 10. Admittedly my laptop is old, and used, but if that was the problem then it would be happening outside of minecraft. But it isn't. PLEASE HELP!
I have been using optifine for months. It started way after I used the latest version of optifine. I am using a wireless USB mouse unless you mean something else
This problem happens less frequently though. I had changed a setting that was autosave 3 secs to 3 mins. I highly doubt that was the problem though because it happened in multiplayer too and that option only effects single player. It still happens sometimes though.
By the way speaking more specifically, the way it turns is that it suddenly moves in another direction and stops. (I just want to make it clear) I have not checked minecraft in a while so I dont know how exactly it happens now. I will check it later.

Its only for people with nvidia gpus, and its known to cause issues with keys sticking or weird mouse movement

You have a nvidia gpu?

No i dont. BUT THE PROBLEM HAPPENS TOO MUCH NOW! TOO MUCH! I dont know why it stopped for so long and started going haywire again. I tried to see what settings i changed, i set it back, but still. It happens way too much now.
The laptop has a trackpad, correct? Most do, it's the pad below the keyboard that you can drag your finger across to move the cursor if you don't have a mouse installed. I'm wondering if something is going haywire with it, or it's conflicting with your mouse. From what you describe, the trackpad might be taking over or outputting a signal when it shouldn't be, and is causing weird movements. Just a guess, though, but try disabling the trackpad, which I think can be done in the system settings or device manager or mouse setup. If it works, then good, if not, then you can just enable it again. Also, maybe try a new/different mouse? The same thing could also be happening to the mouse itself, it just starts putting out signals when it shouldn't.

I will try this later (I'm currently using my tablet to reply), but this doesn't happen outside of minecraft. Also, the problem happens both on my trackpad and mouse. Will still try.
This problem happens only on some occasions. I restarted my laptop again after the session in which the mouse was moving and it stopped I was happy about it but I realized that this happens only on some occasions/ only sometimes. The problem usually stops and starts again. I'm happy with this happening, but I don't want to be restarting my laptop again and again, I want the problem to stop permanently. Dweller_Benthos I will try what you said later.
I also had another idea, if it's a wireless mouse, there could be an issue with the connection between the mouse and the USB plug in receiver, or the receiver itself might be going wonky. Trying a new/different mouse would eliminate any of those possibilities.

Does it happen without optifine? Have you tried unplugging the mouse?

It still does. It stopped for a day but started again. This time though, it happens less often. (on my keypad and mouse)
Is your sensitivity turned up too much in options in Minecraft? That's what I'd check first.
