So when I use Skype with Minecraft, Minecraft times out and Skype ends the call. I've been watching what runs when they're both up, and the programs that run are Skype.exe, Service Traffic, javaw.exe, and svchost.exe After about 30 minutes of running both together, svchost.exe just stops running along with javaw.exe I know that this isn't restricted to my computer, because when I have friends over, we'll both be playing Minecraft (no Skype this time) and we lag out at the same time, most likely because of javaw.exe crashing on both of our computers. I'm guessing it's a router problem at this point, but I don't know what could be wrong (Model is Netgear Nighthwak R7000). This problem is only restricted to Minecraft because I can play other games such as Call of Duty while talking on Skype for hours on end. On a final note, as many people would hypothesize, you'd think it'd be my Internet speeds. My download speed is 10 Mbps (Yes, MegaBIT, not MegaBYTE) and my upload speed is 2mbps. And yes, as you've probably thought, I've monitored my upload/download speeds, and the highest they get to when Minecraft and Skype are running is 1MB/s download and 100KB/s upload. If anyone could think of something, thank you. NOTE: Skype calls means Audio calls, NEVER video. Also, just found out that Skype doesn't crash, it just ends the call. Turns out that when javaw.exe crashes, Minecraft cuts out and Skype stops downloading, but still uses upload.
Connection issues may not reside in your household. These issues can be a result of where you are located how much your service allows. If you are having issues out of this try contacting your internet service provider and asking them the service issues you are having.
Since you have 10Mb/s Down and 2 UP. This is not recommended for gaming, suggest using less service demanding programs like Discord, Curse or Teamspeak?

Yes, I've used Teamspeak plenty of times before, but the same thing happens. I've heard lately that my friends are using Discord, do you think that would have any effect to the problem?

Sounds like its your internet. Contact your service provider and ask why you are having issue with your internet cutting out.
