I keep getting this error on all singleplayer worlds. It happens after a minute or two of playing, and there are no error messages in the "Game Output" log in the minecraft launcher. The only error I see reoccurring is "Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? Running 2793ms behind, skipping 55 tick(s)" (with varying numbers).
Um, I did a search and this post came up with pretty much the same problem I have. I bought Minecraft back in January and have been playing it pretty steadily since then. Everything was fine up until the recent upgrade to 1.10. Then I started getting this error: Java Platform SE binary has stopped working. I get it religiously within seconds of entering any world at all and I only had two. I play in Survival Mode - Single User. I read of fixes so I have tried to rip out Java and put in the latest. I've tried the 'Repair' function in Minecraft. I deleted the .minecraft folder (after saving my usual world) and just made it recreate whatever was in .minecraft. Nothing has worked so far. Pleeeeeeease help. I've got an old machine, but everything worked fine before 1.10. Is there any way I can reload 1.9? Or an earlier version? I really like Minecraft.
Hey, me again. Found this in another Java-error complaint post. Dunno if you want to try it, but turn off the VBO in your video settings within Minecraft. Don't know what this setting does, but at least I was able to get into the game and move around. It is soooooo laggy though that I don't consider it a fix. Maybe it'll be better on your machine.
This happened to me too and it worked totally fine for the 2 years I've played, up until now... and the funny thing is that it worked on my brothers computer. I tried everything I could!, updating minecraft and java, reinstalling it, and a lot more! I'm sorry but I'm bumped! The only thing you can do that could get you some help is go to this website:
I went to it yesterday morning and it hasn't emailed me back since. All we can do at this point is wait...
And if you want to upgrade it down to 1.9 or something (didn't work for me) but make a new profile and where it says upgrade to latest version then change that to 1.9 still didn't work for me...
The issue has lessened to the point where it only happens every couple hours so it's not that big of a problem anymore. I still have no idea what causes the issue, though.
It seems that even after upgrading Java, Minecraft needs to be redirected to the correct place!
You need to change Minecraft's path to the proper place in Program Files, instead of their exclusive folder-- I read online that it didn't upgrade when 1.10 released.
Edit Profile, and look near the bottom you'll see Minecraft's default path. Go into your Program Files, find Java/Oracle and inside the latest version of Java there's a Bin folder. Find JAVA.exe and copy the path- use it to replace the path inside of Minecraft's Edit Profile menu.
I didn't change my RAM or anything and it works fine. Windows 8.1
EDIT: User posted a picture to show, they solved their problem the same way.
I am still hopeless... I love minecraft to it was perfectly fine until I went on one day (and it happens to be the first day of summer break) and all the sudden now it doesn't work I CAN'T GO THIS LONG WITHOUT MINECRAFT!!! jk I already have
Same thing as before, there is no actual error message showing up in the log, just what was happening before the crash (btw it rolls the world back about 30 seconds before the crash).

http://paste.ubuntu.com/17165329/ for the dxdiag thingee
my launcher logger window has an hs_err file if someone cares to see ?
any help at all would be better than trying Java_Options or whatnot. I'm not all that tech-savvy . . .
thanks.

Unfortunately that didn't work but thanks for the suggestion, when I did that it just loaded forever..
I FIXED MINE!!!!!! SERIOUSLY.

Your fix seems to be working and I haven't gotten the crash in about 4-5 hours of play.
Thanks
Getting the crash again :/

Whoa okay I'm sorry...
Try disable the loading screen by setting "enabled" to "false" in .minecraft/config/splash.properties.
This fixed the problem for me. Thanks!
