Hi, I'm looking to increase my render distance in order to fully see my massive builds but I don't want the framerate to take such a large decrease, so I'd like to allocate more RAM to Minecraft to keep it from using my HDD, and to help render the chunks a bit faster and keep the framerate steady. How can I go about increasing the allocated RAM correctly and safely? I will give you my specs so you can decide which amount would be safe assuming the only game or program I'm currently running aside from background and necessary services, applications, and programs is Minecraft. I use absolutely no resource packs, shaders, or mods of any kind aside from Optifine HD H3 Ultra, and I have Vsync, AA, AF, and Mipmap turned off. Aside from, almost everything else in Optifine's options are either turned off or at maximum quality. At these settings, I almost always get a framerate of approximately 200-600 on my city that equals roughly the size of a 16 Far render distance in a superflat world, or in other words, 256m. I assure you that my Minecraft is taking full advantage of my multi-core CPU and GPU as a dedicated card. Currently, I have 1GB allocated to my Minecraft and the launcher in the "JVM Arguments" section, says the following:

A very generic and bland signature because I can't decide what to write here. I also hate my profile name. Refer to me as Cheese, my Steam name.
