So i have been playing this World for several weeks. Opened the game tonight and it crashed. Once I re-launched the game, I was immediately taking damage and screen was black. I went ham with the pickaxe and dug my way out of a _newly_ placed mountain. Long story short, best I can tell several chunks were re-created from scratch they just-so-happened to be smack in the middle of my base and all my 3,4,5 day, week long builds!
O.o
I tried a few Google searches and quickly realized my tinkering is likely to do more harm than good at this point, so I am looking to the pros for help.
I am attaching a screenshot of one of the "new" chunks. A couple of panicked minutes running around the immediate area revealed several of these errors. I am also attaching a link to the "corrupted" world, the error log file, and screenshot in a zip file.
I am not worried about the gear, just the built objects - many of which took countless hours to make.
If anyone can fix this, I will gladly contribute $50 to the SAVE-MY-WORLD fund come Friday - 2/26 - no joke.
SCREEN - Example of "corrupted" chunk - obvious carved out "cube" where cool stuff should be. Notice my "ZOMGROFLCOPTERGOESSWOOSHWOOSH" expression on my face....
Edited: In case it matters.... no mods. Pure vanilla ice cream here.
Scammy? To found this place because there are a thousand people asking for help with minecraft issues../. I am actually offering to help compensate for pro support because it's important to me and my daughter - she takes care of the thousands of animals in our base. I enjoy the aesthetic and overly complicated farm-type builds.
I appreciate you stopping by and I respect your opinion, but I was incredibly disappointed to find this world became corrupted. I simply cannot bear to see the disappointment in my daughters face when she wants to feed the dogs and shear all the rainbow sheep.
Sure, it's just a game. Sure, there is a wonderful "life lesson" here somewhere, but suffice it to say, it's been a rough couple months and this has been a welcome distraction.
Your world "New Worldasdf" has been corrupted. The DIM-1\region\r.-1.-1.mca chunk was corrupted, however there might be a way to roll it back if it was being ran from your computer. Do you have Skype? It'd be easier to type there.
Once again, if you have Skype please add ebkundesigns. It'd be much easier to talk (type) there.
Another Update: Someone else had this problem, and apparently their hard drive was just full, but I don't think that's what your error is. If your world auto saves every so often, I'd recommend going back to the last save before this corrupted one.
Update #3: After looking through the files you posted, I think I've found something that could help you. Follow these instructions, they should fix your world.
Once you have downloaded it, unzip it into the folder that your world is in, then stop the server and open the RunMe.bat file. Once it is open, check that it has found the right world and then continue (by pressing y). Let it do its thing, and then press the any key when asked(you have one of those, right?).
The next step is to start your server and check if it has worked. There is a good chance it has worked, however if it has not then the next tool should fix it for you.
You should extract Region Fixer to its own folder, in this case I will use C:\MCRF\
You should now open up a command prompt (press the windows key + r, then type cmd) and type in the following:
Replace C:\server\world with the path to your world folder (not your server folder, the actual world folder itself).
Once it has finished, it will display something along the lines of:
Found 0 corrupted and 0 wrong located chunks of a total of 1192
After it has finished, it will have removed excessive amounts of entities and deleted corrupted region files – It will not fix wrongly located chunks and/or entities...
If, once it has finished, it displays something like this:
Found 0 corrupted and 1 wrong located chunks of a total of 1192
then a wrongly located chunk has been found. To fix this, go back up in the command window and look for something like this:
Scanned r.-1.-1.mcr <c: 0, w: 1, t: 354>
You are looking for w: 1 – That is how many wrongly located chunks were found in that region file, and the number may be more than 1... “r.-1.-1.mcr” is the name of the file with the issue. To fix this, go into your world folder, then into the region folder, and delete the file mentioned in the previous step (in this case “r.-1.-1.mcr").
Thanks for the reply. It's 3:51 am here. I'll leeol you up on skype tomorrow mid day. Interesting that you mentioned the hard drive being full. My C drive errored out as full shortly before this happened. I have multiple drives, but the C drive is where the appdata/.minecraft folder lives.
Thanks ks for taking the time to stop by and offer some help. I do appreciate it.
UPDATE: My Skype is digitalje5u5 if you want to go ahead and add me. I just meant that it will probably be tomorrow before I can sit down at the computer and work on this.
Thanks ks again for taking the time to try and help me sort this out.

Haha yeah. It's 3:54 AM for me as well, I'm going to go to sleep now. I'll probably be awake around 11 AM to 2 PM.

Seems rather scammy.. I won't buy into this

Update: I'm not sure if this would work for you, but I looked into Windows 8 support and found this. It might be able to contribute to your lost data if the server was being run on your PC. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/how-use-file-history
Once again, if you have Skype please add ebkundesigns. It'd be much easier to talk (type) there.

Update #3: After looking through the files you posted, I think I've found something that could help you. Follow these instructions, they should fix your world.
PART 1
The first tool we will use is Chunkster. Download it from here:
http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/admin-chunkster.8186/
Once you have downloaded it, unzip it into the folder that your world is in, then stop the server and open the RunMe.bat file. Once it is open, check that it has found the right world and then continue (by pressing y). Let it do its thing, and then press the any key when asked(you have one of those, right?).

PART 2
Download the Minecraft Region Fixer from here:
https://github.com/downloads/Fenixin/Minecraft-Region-Fixer/Minecraft-Region-Fixer-v0.0.8(win32).zip
You should extract Region Fixer to its own folder, in this case I will use C:\MCRF\
You should now open up a command prompt (press the windows key + r, then type cmd) and type in the following:
C:\MCRF\region-fixer.exe --verbose --delete-corrupted --delete-entities --entity-limit=100 C:\server\world
Replace C:\server\world with the path to your world folder (not your server folder, the actual world folder itself).
