I recently moved all my minecraft files to my Flash Drive to play them from there because my HDD is slow. It worked and I got great FPS for a long time, then suddenly on single player, blocks started lagging. I kept placing a block and it wouldn't make a sound, then it would disappear. I sometimes even loose blocks and items because of this. This also happens with mobs.
I thought this was a problem with it being on the flash drive and all that, so I reinstalled minecraft where it was supposed to be, and played it from there.
Same problem. I created a single player world which took forever, and then started playing it. Lag, lag, and lag.
This doesn't happen in Multiplayer at all. It works just fine on multiplayer. If there is any block lag when I am on the server, it is mostly because I am on a server and my ping is bad.

AMD Radeon 7550D
AMD A8-5500 APU with HD Support
64-bit System with Windows 10
The same thing happens on Optifine, but it happens less so I end up using that. And my FPS is usually 100-200 (HDD: 40-80)
The same thing is happening the me too! I am not able to place blocks normally, and it takes FOREVER for monsters to move(like 20 seconds to move 5 blocks), and for me to actually get hit by one. Potions last for like 10 minutes instead of their intended time.
And I am running on the 1.9 snapshots which are suppose to be "Faster and More Optimized". The block lag and slowdown seems to get worse every update, too.

I'm glad I am not the only having this problem.
I also realized it takes quite a bit of time to load the singleplayer world list and the multiplayer list. It also takes quite a bit when saving and exiting your world.
I also get a huge FPS drop when deflecting or hitting a ghasts fireball. From 170 to 20 FPS.
I am not having those "GL Errors" that you are experiencing, but I am experiencing things about the server being overloaded. Probably because singleplayer worlds are hosted on an internal server, which is stupid because it leads to these block lag issues and errors.

I have updated this with a log file from my latest gameplay. I noticed there are tons of OpenGL Errors and "Did the system time change?"
Is this the problem? If so, what is causing this?

The same thing is happening the me too! I am not able to place blocks normally, and it takes FOREVER for monsters to move(like 20 seconds to move 5 blocks), and for me to actually get hit by one. Potions last for like 10 minutes instead of their intended time.
And I am running on the 1.9 snapshots which are suppose to be "Faster and More Optimized". The block lag and slowdown seems to get worse every update, too.

I also realized it takes quite a bit of time to load the singleplayer world list and the multiplayer list. It also takes quite a bit when saving and exiting your world.
I also get a huge FPS drop when deflecting or hitting a ghasts fireball. From 170 to 20 FPS.

I am not having those "GL Errors" that you are experiencing, but I am experiencing things about the server being overloaded. Probably because singleplayer worlds are hosted on an internal server, which is stupid because it leads to these block lag issues and errors.
