First off I want to say, I know my computer isn't the best, but before I get into any of that, I have a windows 8.1, and ever since I resetted my computer it went down. Now let me say, before I did a reset on my computer my fps could go from 60 fps too 120 fps, I had heating problems so I cleaned my computer out and did a reset. Now when I play I get lower fps, 10 fps to be exact, I have found a way to get it up to 20 fps with optifine, putting computer resouces all into minecraft, 2GB instead of 1GB, but besides that I can't get any higher.
Now that's in single player, when I do a multiplayer server I ended up getting 7 or lower fps, Therefore I was lagging so hard I just don't play multiplayer anymore. The problem is my friend wants me to play this server we use to always play on, but therefore since I got bad fps I cannot.
So does anyone know why the cause of this after I did a reset on my computer, I have 4 GB and I set it to 2 GB for ram usuage, my cpu is always good, my tempatures are good, all drivers and windows updates are up to date. Now the only thing I can see is that my AMD and Intel graphic cards in device manager, though I always unistall the AMD one and it helps a little bit but I still don't see the reason for this.
If anyone could help this would be greatly appricated, and my java is up to date, and I have tried other versions of java ( Example java 8 64 bit ) My computer is 64 bit and I have tried everything, thanks to those who can help me.
Thank you for everyone help, I actually figured it out myself, So what happened was that my computer graphic card decided to unistall and go to a older version, therefore making it outdated and laggy, I fixed. Thanks for the responses

Have you adjusted your java arguments after your reset? Many often forget
Yes, I have
could you post your specs, jvm args, paste bin of last log and your network speed
Make sure you have the newest drivers for your laptop's graphics. you might not have drivers due to the reset.
