Yesterday I was building a world on the Mars dimension with Galacticraft perfectly fine. Today I went to load the world to continue it, but the game now crashes whenever I try to load it. I have not added/removed any mods or changed the game's settings.

It looks like a rendering issue. Try changing your dimension by editing the NBT files. I think there's information on the internet on how to do it, or else I'll instruct you.
I may have found out how to do it; just go to AppData/.minecraft/saves/(World which is crashing)/playerdata/ and, using an NBT editing program, open the .dat file within that folder, then change the 'Dimension' value to 0, right?

Yes, that's one part. The level.dat also contains information of the player, so set the Dimension value to 0 under the tag Player too.
Well, this is odd. Using the NBT Editor, the Dimension tags are already at 0(Overworld). I tried erasing and writing 0 again to place me in the Overworld, but no results - game still crashes. I noticed I am now definitely on the Overworld, though, as I was briefly able to see the void tinted blue instead of orange.
I wonder if the issue will happen if I create a new world. Actually, I'll check on that.
EDIT: This is really strange. Creating a new world, quitting Minecraft and re-entering it does not cause it to crash, both on Mars and in the Overworld. This means the world I was on probably got corrupted or something. Odd.
Render distance is set at 4 chunks, pretty low due to my weak computer. I'll check if lowering/raising it will solve the issue but, like Hlaaftana said, since it's restricted to one world it's possible it might not work. Ah well, doesn't hurt to try.
No avail. I guess the world is just corrupted, and lost forever. Ah well. At least I had just started work on it, so it's not like I lost weeks worth of progress.

Bump.
Hmm... Really odd...

EDIT: This is really strange. Creating a new world, quitting Minecraft and re-entering it does not cause it to crash, both on Mars and in the Overworld. This means the world I was on probably got corrupted or something. Odd.
I thought it was corrupted too at first, since it literally says "Unexpected error".
What's your render distance?
Please don't PM me asking for help, I will just redirect you to the appropriate forum, where there are others who are far more skilled than me.
This is not the signature you are looking for.
Banners and such things
How would it matter? It's 1.7.10, all worlds have the same render distance.
I've seen a few similar 1.7.10 crashes lately where the fix is to lower the render distance.
Please don't PM me asking for help, I will just redirect you to the appropriate forum, where there are others who are far more skilled than me.
This is not the signature you are looking for.

This apparently only happens to one world, I don't really think that's the reason, but I don't wanna sound stupid when it ends up being that...
Back in 1.6 or 1.5 my worlds randomly got deleted... And I mostly live alone, so no one could have done it.
