Hello, my little sister has been complaining about single player minecraft. Normally problems happen on multiplayer, so I was surprised. After I checked it out, I realized just how off things were. When I tried to create a single player world, it took about 1 1/2 minutes to create, then after that, only spawn chucks were loaded, and no others would load. I tired F3 + A but that did nothing to help. I also experienced huge FPS drops. We are on a pretty beefy mac, so It normal gets 60-90 fps. But now in a bad spike it can go to 0-10 fps. If this was multiplayer only, I would assume it was a bad connection/bad internet, but this is happening in both multiplayer and single player. I really don't know whats going on, please help.
