The title explains most of it. In the same area where I would be getting 75 fps or higher on Windows 8.1, I would be getting 45 on Windows 10 (Singleplayer). I have looked through the support forums for a solution, but what I have found creates no difference in the frame rate.
I have the same issue. I think doing a factory restore of just a simple refresh should improve fps. But I'm not sure. I will try it and tell you how it goes.
Windows 10 is still a very new OS, and the drivers haven't been fully optimized yet. Just wait untill updates arive and over the next few months you should see some gradual improvements.

I have Nvidia drivers and mine works fine, maybe look into installing optifine. Its a good easy performance boost mod.
Yup, got the FPS drop on windows 10, too. Guess we'll have to wait for driver / java optimisation.
