Ok,so i made a modpack a little that while pretty big is able to be run by my friend. Unfortunately it crashes at the newest minecraft forges "Phase 2" by closing itself, it should be noted that i dont have this problem despite running the same pack even at the minimum 2GB required.
MCF version:The newest as of the time this was written i think
And what you provided is rather useless. We need the crash report and/or game logs.
And take down those links. I rather doubt you have permission to redistribute those mods.
To be honest thats all the info i could get, i was told the game closed itself,no crashlog or anything, Google said it was a mod conflict but ive built the thing and it works just fine on my pc,
What he means if actually go look and if there's no crash-reports in the crash-reports folder give us the FML Latest Log which can be found in the logs folder. It helps to have knowledge of how modding works and where things are stored when you work with mods, you know?
And he's entirely right. You need to tell us what forge version you're using unless you paste a log. "Slightly less new" could mean literally any version and I don't check the Oracle website so I don't know what the newest java version is. I get the vibe that you're really young and shouldn't be playing around with mods on your own. Go ask an adult to mod for you if you're going to be as ignorant as this with your reports to a forum.

Okay, first off, please dont bring age into this,im 19 and just a rookie at modding as ive gotten minecraft mere months ago, that might be where the vibes coming from, because im nose diving into something i know very little about. Also updated info
My forge: 10.13.4.1445(Quite literally slightly less new)
My friends forge 10.13.4.1448
My Java: V8 Update45(Since im always like, update? sure get it out of the way)
My friends java:Unknown, but assumed to be up to date as well
The error itself:The game forcecloses on the loading phase 2,googling the symptoms(X) says its a mod conflict despite it working just fine on my pc,
Edit:Im also too much of a wuss to ask for a crashlog from them, it may come tomarrow

I bet his java is out of date then. There are mods that require the last version of Java 7 (note it's no longer developed) and others that only allow Java 8. So he needs to update first and see if that fixes it. Tell him to update to Java 8 R45
Also I get that vibe simply because of the lack of information, it's a childish thing to do and leads me to believe you were one. Regardless of the fact just know when you do post a report make sure to tell us those things first because we can respond faster. We do this for free, mind you, because it's a forum but that doesn't mean we have to do it.
Just googling symptoms will give you nothing. Each crash is unique even if they look similar. Just of the top of my head there can be a t least 5 different reasons for this issue.
We really need the log.
Agreed. We need the log in order to tell you what's wrong because, like he said, multiple issues can be associated with one crash. The only way to tell is to give us the log of the client crashing and the crash-report. Both are helpful but only the crash-report is the necessary one in the short-term.
Ok,new info, its not so much as a crash,as it is the thing freezing and then closing itself when pre-initializing(stage 2)the newest forge multipart version(1.2.0.345),it should also be noted that my friends pc has been defamed on multiple occasions for being a "craptop"
Image in the link for reference as to where the freeze happens for my friend
And how do i go about that? Googles best result(X) says to go into spash.properties and set enabled to false, sorry if im basicly in need of a walkthrough,i have no idea what im doing
Edit:I did it myself and it brought me back to the old pre recent forge loading method. If another person has this same problem,i guess you could tell them to open splash.properties with notepad++ and set enabled to false, which is basicly the step by step of what you recomended that i do...hopefully thisll help my friend
Ok,The thing with the splash screen, wasnt the problem, the problem was after a certain point which is different between the two of them, loading just outright, stops from what i gathered, quoted from an anonymous friend
[Didnt quote skye far enough for the timestamp]the log isnt giving me anything to go on either
[11:53:36 AM] : it just sorta stopped loading 15min ago
[11:55:34 AM] : the last thing it gave me was this
[11:55:43 AM] : [19:38:53] [Client thread/INFO] [FML]: [Automagy] Successfully integrated with MineFactoryReloaded fluids.
[19:38:54] [Client thread/INFO] [FML]: [Automagy] Finished integrating with Forbidden Magic aspects.
[19:38:54] [Client thread/INFO] [ThermalFoundation]: [Whitelist] Reading established Whitelist from file.
Im chalking it up to a problem with how it was distributed,me gorking up somehow,or me creating a very specific environment that i have no idea how to replicate in order to get the pack to work, though im 66% sure i did something wrong.
Remember when i had a problem that involved 11 crashing and binnies mods? I said to hell with this and asked them both to delete the configs...it...worked,the fix that saved my hide worked! But with other people!?
Just give us the FULL logs. They can be found in the "logs" folder which is located inside of the Minecraft / Modpack directory. We need the logs of anyone crashing in order to help. The log we need is FML-Client-Latest.log IF they have just run the pack and crashed it. If they removed mods and it runs tell them to add them back and get it to crash again, since I don't know how many times they've run it.
TL;DR: We need the logs from the logs folder. FML-Client-Latest.log only after you run it and crash it.
And just copy and paste the log into a spoiler or give me a pastebin link. Not a download to some mediafire thing. I hate it when people make me do that to read their logs. Pastebin or spoiler.

Im sorry but i dont HAVE the full logs, cus its not my PC,also the problem was me forgetting to .zip or something the configs, which im assuming somehow damaged them, and now the pack works on their pc's. To tell the truth the problem was me goofin up with the private distribution, deleting the entirity of the configs file fixed THAT problem though, as one of them can load the pack sorry i couldnt have provided more info.
Also i get the feeling that a lot of people have been unco-operative in the past to ya,like worse than i have, but out of ignorance on how to get help instead of ignorance towards the problem, also i know, spoiler or bust.
