My minecraft was working fine 12 hours ago, but all of a sudden when I tried to launch this appeared in the launcher: java.net.ConnectException: Operation not permitted
I tried using a different wifi but it still didn't work. So I uninstalled and reinstalled minecraft. Yet now it won't launch and this is all that happened:
Bootstrap (v5)
Current time is Jun 19, 2015 4:35:50 PM
System.getProperty('os.name') == 'Mac OS X'
System.getProperty('os.version') == '10.7.5'
System.getProperty('os.arch') == 'x86_64'
System.getProperty('java.version') == '1.6.0_65'
System.getProperty('java.vendor') == 'Apple Inc.'
System.getProperty('sun.arch.data.model') == '64'
I am not quite sure, but it seems to me that your launcher is trying to update itself, and for some reason it doesn't succseed ... manulay downloading from Mojangs official site should be solution, it also doesn't cost.
EDIT:
Hold on that thought for now.
I just realised that you are using outdated version of JAVA. Update that first, then later try running and updating launcher.

I don't know what else to do to try and fix it? Anyone got a clue.
Btw I am using Mac OSX Version 10.7.5
