Today I was playing on Vanilla Minecraft 1.8 (normal 1.8 not 1.8.1 etc. with Optifine) when chunks of my world started to randomly flash. This has happened to me before on normal 1.8 even without optifine and it has become a nuisance. I know this doesn't happen on 1.8.7 or 1.8.4 but I'm sort of in a conflict. Since I'm using MultiMC and I don't know how to install optifine to an Instance without using forge (I'm new to MultiMC) I'm forced to use normal 1.8. It's either I play default (no optifine) 1.8.7 which is extremely laggy OR use 1.8.0 with optifine and have flashing chunks. Does anyone know how to do any of the following? A. Fix the flashing chunks B. Install Optifine to a MultiMC instance without forge (I already looked on the official website and it requires me to create a .json file which I cannot do, https://github.com/MultiMC/MultiMC5/wiki/MultiMC-and-OptiFine )
Any help is appreciated, also I could not include a screenshot because every time I try to take one the chunk flashing is never shown.
