okay so im not your normal goto finder click "go" then type "~/library/blahblah" I've tried it all. but it worked! sort of, i found the files! but they weren't the right ones! they were old and outdated still saying texture pack and when i put the mod i wanted into the mod folder nothing happened!(i have minecraft forge setup) I'm so confused as to how my minecraft folder things got, one, separated from the normal area of Finder, two became outdated, three it doesn't even match up with my current minecraft! please help i can't download any mods! P.S.I am running OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 and my minecraft is 1.8 because of certain needs for mods and texture packs, i am aware it can be updated.
