So I have a very strange error. Today, I decided to take the plunge and upgrade to 1.7.10 after many months of staying at 1.6.2. My current system is a Windows 64 bit, with Java 7 installed. After making sure to run 1.7.10 vanilla once, I grabbed the latest version of forge from the official site and installed the jar as usual. I ran the game again once with my new forge version, then put in my mods, all of them are up to date for version 1.7.10
My current list of mods:
Bibliocraft
Biomes o' plenty
Mo Creatures
Custom Mob Spawner
Harder Peaceful
MrCrayfish's furniture mod
Mystcraft
Pam's Harvestcraft
Thaumcraft
Balkon's weapon mod
Witchery
I started up minecraft, only for it to crash. It looked like an issue with Micdoodle core (for galacticraft), so I took it out along with Galacticraft
This is where it gets strange.
Afterwards, I started up minecraft again, it appeared to be launching fine, showing the Mojang logo. Then it goes to this screen
I was very confused, as I was sure to grab the latest 1.7.10 version, I'm currently running 7.10.88.1024. Forge has no version like the one it lists above, and while it tells me to look at the modloader logs, there's no such file to exist. I don't know what's happening but minecraft is all but unplayable, does anyone know what's wrong?
Ok, after some testing i have no clue what causes it. But i did manage to sorta fix it, i think... I am going to ask you to delete the entire contents of your .minecraft folder, first backup your worlds and screenshots. Then start up the launcher again and install/start 1.7.10, after that download and install minecraft forge 1.7.10-10.13.2.1291(latest), start that up and create a world just to make sure it works, if that worked go ahead and plop in your mods and start it back up and create another world with the Biomes O' Plenty generation, assuming that worked you should be able to plop back in your old world or start a whole new one!

Ok so I tried what you said, and put in biomes o plenty. When I did that, it gave me the weird forge error screen, so I figured BoP was probably causing the problem and took it out.
Then, I tried to put in a different mod to see if all of them caused it or just one. For my test, I put in bibliocraft.
At first, it seemed like it would start up fine, and then it crashed and gave me this error.
That's my problem, I did install forge, I grabbed the .jar from the website and installed the client like always.
I have forge folders and files, and the crash log even says that I have forge installed.
Even stranger, when there's no mods forge and minecraft start up fine. The second I add a mod, any mod at all, it has a a nervous breakdown and starts crying in the corner.

If it helps, I took a screenshot of my mods folder
