Yes. This is odd. AV might have flagged something forge related as a virus last night, and now it's identifying this as a threat too. I don't know what's going on but yes let it install. You got it off of main forge download site right? Not some 3rd party site?
Ok so I installed both client and server. Ran client just fine and the server would not start same issue. I saw some about the max perm size so I took that out of the bat file and now its working.
Ha ha you didn't think it would be that easy did you? Now the server window freezes and flashes and windows shuts it down from not responding! No crash log but I will throw you the regular log.
Ok well it threw a permgen error so I put that back in and it loaded but still froze. My log is way too big for pastebin even in 1/3's. Suggestions?
Here is the first piece.
Hum. That all looks ok and it looks like it just cut out in the middle of load. Do what I told you before. Start task manager on windows and watch the system memory. Then start up the java server version. See how much system memory is taken up total and how much is left over. If the server starts, keep watching what happens when you start the client version.
Yeah I figured it's a java issue most likely from your description. But I'm not sure if it's that global java setting coming back to bite you or if there's something genuinely wrong with its install.
Wait...when you were starting this thread originally, you were showing java 8 loading with your MC, but your server is using java 7. Were you changing this at some point in time?

But I don't think that was it. I really don't remember.
If desperate you can always pack it as a text file and post it on mediafire or something.
And the final
