ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib1.dll
is some net framework thing. That's not a minecraft mod file. Careful if that's something you picked up from another folder.
immibis has newer stuff but what you have isn't bad cause versions match: http://www.immibis.com/mcmoddl/
Ok so next question is in my server folder where forge server is there are two jar files one looks like a vanilla launcher and the other a forge launcher. The vanilla one :minecraft_server.1.7.10.jar launches and that is what my friend and I loaded up and had the mod issues. The other one that I assume is the correct one to run:forge-1.7.10-10.13.2.1286-universal.jar nothing happens when I click on it.
For reference this video is what I followed to install the server.
Yes that was all ok. From another user's woes with this issue:
You need to install ALL mods before anyone sets foot onto the server ingame. If the mods you want are not all installed, and you go onto the server, it will save your player data, and oddly... the inventory cannot be altered after that, which causes you to crash when you try to load new mod items. To fix this problem, just delete the world folder. It will regenerate on next start up. But yeah, that happened to me for some reason, so I am making sure to install all my mods first before opening up the doors to the server.
You don't click on forge jar to start things. What video told you with the bat file is good.
Ok so it is good with the bat file. I have not put anything into the mod folder in the server folder. I start the server and load minecraft and try to connect to the server and it rejects mods and wont let me in.
Mod Rejections:
FMLMod:ThermalExpansion{1.7.10R4.0.0B8}
FMLMod:MineFactoryReloaded{1.7.10R2.8.0RC6}
FMLMod:ThermalFoundation{1.7.10R1.0.0RC1}
FMLMod:RedstoneArsenal{1.7.10R1.1.0RC1}
FMLMod:TConstruct{1.7.10-1.8.2build858}
Again I wiped the server folder clean and re installed and it runs as video shows. This happens when I try to connect to the server.
Yes sir I found a list and I had 5. Inventory tweaks, journey map, lite loader, optifine, tic tooltips and waila. You are saying waila is ok to stay for the server?
Sorry guys one last thing. Are there no options for minimaps on a server? Ive seen them on ftb and such and was just wondering if thats a different story or if there is something out there to get so I can have a minimap?
If you want a minimap, install voxelmap for 1.7.10: http://minecraft.curseforge.com/mc-mods/225179-voxelmap
on your client side only, and not on the server (it'll need liteloader but again you install that client side only).
Journeymap server (http://minecraft.curseforge.com/mc-mods/225341-journeymap-server is actually one of those you install server side but it is very intensive to run. Make sure to read the first post thoroughly before installing. And then you can install the client side too: http://minecraft.curseforge.com/mc-mods/32274-journeymap-32274
But this map is more for mapping the entire explored server area and posting it on the web, so that users know where others are and such. It's really meant for large servers. If this is just you and your friend, I wouldn't bother.
Put what? Voxelmap? Or are you talking about journeymap.
Voxelmap is just a minimap. Runs client side only. What it does is converts the F3 info in text coordinates into a meaningful 3D orientation in a form of a minimap, at least as far as its basic functions go. It's simple and you don't need server to run it. It's for your own orientation and for your own waypoints. Every user runs its own on their client.
As I said, journeymap server is something different. It basically maps the entire explored server in a map that can be exported into a browser for large servers so you know what is where and where you can settle and where cities are and such so users can coordinate via the server webpage (usually large servers will have some kind of homepage). For small servers with just a few friends, generally it's overkill but if you really like it, you can install journeyman server on server side and journeyman client on your individual end (and every other player can install journeyman client) to have access to a minimap in game.
Gotcha. Thank you for the last couple days and helping with my huge mess I had created. I did learn a lot so hopefully in the future I will be able to troubleshoot things myself. Greatly appreciated sir, till next time!
Ok thank you. Everything was working great last night and this morning I accidentally put optifine in the server folder and when it crashed I realized my error and removed it. After I got it out of the mod folder the server now still crashes. Does optifine put some files somewhere else that need to go as well or would you just like the server log?
Hum. Server logs would be nice. That way you can at least figure out if it's some sort of data corruption or if it's just extra files that ought to be removed. Hopefully. If the logs are being helpful.
I don't tend to install optifine so I'm not an expert on uninstall. I just tend to toss my profile (and folder for it) if it's not working.
The one you have there is for client side. That's what each player will have in their mod folders on their computers (including you, in your separate client side copy that you'll log in and play with on the server).
Industrial-Craft-2-Mod-Experimental-1.7.10.jar
Thanks for the other suggestions I have taken care of the rest.

For IC2 he actually tells you to use latest builds, so then do that. 660 now: http://ic2api.player.to:8080/job/IC2_experimental/
and now I gotta sleep. Just check the rest carefully.

I was wrong about cookiecore. Apparently TSteelworks needs it now but it's a pre-release so expect bugs (https://github.com/Ephys/TinkersSteelworks/releases)
New NEI integration is out.
Qmunitylib is another core mod I see no main mods for.
Not sure where you got steamcraft. All I found was http://minecraft.curseforge.com/mc-mods/224017-steamcraft-2-beta-2-fluxian-storm and that's not close to your version.
