As like everyone said before me, try OptiFine and/or GameBooster and basically overclock your computer that way. However, your machine is severly out-of-date and needs upgrades. Minecraft 1.8.x is a very intensive GPU/CPU/RAM based game, what you have is just barely getting by.
If OptiFine does not work, try GameBooster. However, I really would recommend buying a new machine from Dell Outlet or HP Outlet over GameBooster. If money is tight and you really want that performance boost, try GameBooster {please read spoiler for warning}. There is so much that you can do with a incredibly-outdated machine. Best of luck!
[GAMEBOOSTER WILL PUT YOUR MACHINE INTO A APPLICATION-BASED OVERCLOCK, THIS MAY DAMAGE YOUR MACHINE. I AM NOT HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PROBLEMS, FAILURES, OR Potential Unwanted Programs (PUP). USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.]
[This is my advice to you, and this is also my warning to you. You can achieve an additional 5-25 FPS while using this however due to the risk of an application-based overclock to pump more power into the machine itself. It may damage your machine by achieving 'beyond its limits' which will push the hardware past its breaking point. I will not be held responsible for any problems.]

I already have game booster which is Razer Cortex and Advanced Systemcare 8. Did you read the OP above?
was that a costumized computer? if they do why didnt you upgrade the ram to highest between 8-16 of ram,you had only 2 of ram :D,on hd pc games you cant play the hd graphics games. costumized computers cost big,you could just buy 1 tower[desktop] only then the rest use your old k-bord,monitor,mice etc.that what i do to mine.:)

No. It's not custom-built. I bought the PC around the dog days of 2009. I had the discrete GPU which is NVIDIA GeForce GT 9500 1 GB GDDR5

Razer Cortex and Advanced Systemcare 8 are not the application 'GameBooster' (I mean the actual program, not similar apps). I'd prefer Razer Cortex over GameBooster, but if that didn't work then your graphic card is the main hindrance on your machine. If you have tried Optifine and Razer Cortex, there is little to nothing that you can do to get a boost. In extreme cases you can get some boost using Razer but not much, which is your indicator that it is time to upgrade.
it is fairly old from those specs, I would buy a new graphic card, I'd suggest a Raedon 6450 or higher with a low profile bracket. I'd stay away from the higher end cards since those require quite a bit of power (low-profile requires 600wat or less and most machines should have 400-750wat power supplies). I would first check to see if your machine can in fact add a standard bracket or a low-profile bracket (this is imperative) then find something that is within your budget, if any type of game boosting performance application cannot give you decent FPS then its time to upgrade.
I'd also recommend purchasing a better processor, but ultimately you should think about getting a new machine with higher processing power to compute the game, and a higher graphical processing power to render your game. There is only so much your card can do before it reaches its obsolete point.

i suggest buy a new 1 piece of pc desktop i mean just 1 pc tower from dell but not the dell outlet thought[you dont know which one is defective],you can buy new from dell and costumized the parts and change it whatever you want.
i also used gamebooster but it doesnt help the lag on my computer also it forces your computer to high performance which is easy to lag faster,i prefer optifine plus buy a new internet service like an advance package[cost $40 and above] or something;)...
