Well, I posted this question in the Optifine Thread itself, but it was completely ignored, and the thread went on past it a few pages, so I decided I would most likely get an answer if I made a thread about it, rather than asking on a massively overused thread.
Soo.. um. I have a nooby question that I need answered. The antialiasing option doesn't seem to be working in both of the Optifine 1.7.4, and 1.7.5 versions. Am I the only one having this issue? And is there any way to get it to activate?
Currently if I click it, it remains "Off" even if I am not on a server, or in a game world, and simply at the game menue.
I seem unable to activate this setting, no matter what.
Oh Edit. Um, I figured that I better mention this. I have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti Graphics card, and I have the latest driver for it. The Nvidia GeForce experience Panel auto-updates the driver for me every time a new one comes out. Also, I am currently on Java 8, though I did uninstall Java 8, and install Java 7u51, just to make sure, and I still have the same problem.
My system information is as follows:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit
Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5300 @2.6GHz
4GB of Ram
Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB
First screen 1600x1050
Second screen 1440x900
I am currently using Java 8, but as I stated in my original post, I did try to downgrade back to Java 7, just to make sure, and it still didn't work. And yes.. I did uninstall Java 8, before installing Java 7, and vise versa. Also as I stated already, my graphics driver is up to date:
I literally just clicked on the "Check for updates" button, not a second ago, just to take that screenshot. It is currently 10:04pm as I type this sentence.
Again, my question is: "How do I enable antialiasing on Optifine?" The button itself is unresponsive, no matter what I do. It highlights if I hover over it, but when I click on it, nothing happens.
