Don't you have diagnostics in the boot rooms? You can't get a thorough test while windows is running.
If your BIOS / roms don't have diagnostics I'd try to find some kind of bootable diagnostic image that you can either burn a CD/DVD from or put on a USB stick.
There might be a problem between your PC and JRE 7.
Have you tried reverting to java 6 Update 45?
When you revert, delete Java 7.
Try running 1.5.2 now. if it still doesn't work, I think there's a hardware issue.
Or- if it works, you can only play 1.5.2.
I just built this new computer but every few minutes in minecraft I keep getting errors. Here are a couple of random ones out of over 20 thus far.
I have tried
MOBO = fm2-a75ma-e35
APU = AMD A10-6800 4.1GHz Quad-Core (Radeon HD 8670D integrated graphics)
RAM = Gskill Ripjaw-sx PC2133 8GB
OS = Windows 7 x64
Other Things you might need to know I am using the Direwolf20 mod pack but I get errors without any mods too.
EDIT: Here is my DirectX log

I'd put money on failing in depth memory diagnostics.
Is there a good one free program for that or a cheaper one at least.
EDIT: I used Windows 7 System diagnostics and I passed all the test there.
