I do hope I'm posting in the correct place. My apologies if I'm not.
Basically, I want to run two completely different modded versions of Minecraft 1.5.2. One which runs just Mo' Creatures, the other to run just PokeCube.
I've tried setting up multiple profiles in the new launcher, and created a separate version for each, along with installing Forge into each .jar.
My problem comes when I try to run the Pokecube version. The game loads up, but says I have 7 mods running. When I check which mods, it lists the mods for the Mo'Creatures version. I tried pointing the launcher to a separate folder for the Pokecube version, but it still launches the MOC version.
The only thing that's worked so far was creating a second mods folder, and just renaming the one I want to use to "mods" and the other to something else. But that creates the problem of only being able to run whichever version is currently named "mods".
Anybody know what I'm doing wrong,or what I can do?
Well, you could use Magic Launcher (its useful for what your trying to do) Also, could you provide a link to where you downloaded Pokecube?
Note: I would use Pixelmon instead of Pokecube.
My apologies for such a late reply. Apparently I forgot to follow my own thread. =/
I dowloaded Pokecube from this site, which I was linked to from the thread posted on these forums. https://sites.google.com/site/minecraftpokemob/
Other than having to download something else, do you know of any other way?
Thank you for telling me about Pixelmon. I do like what I'm seeing from it thus far, especially the size changes.
