So, I have NO IDEA what is causing this, but my sound is really acting up. It used to be just fine. Now it's just weird. When I click a button, it sounds all scratchy, and when I place blocks in barely makes enough noise to describe it. I reinstalled Java, and Minecraft. I got rid of .minecraft. Oh, and it takes forever to load a world and I get about 2-3 fps. 5 if I'm lucky. It also happens with Technic, Tekkit and all the rest. The reason I put this here is that this started a few days ago when I tried putting NEI in with Twilight Forest, Tale of Kingdoms, and Timber. I had the other three working fine (although I hadn't tried twilight forest yet). When I bought full diamond armor from the blacksmith and it went on the ground and I couldn't pick it up, I logged out. Apparently items dropped within a guild despawn on a relog. Anyway, since NEI crashed it, I've been having this problem. I didn't think to copy-paste the error log, because I thought that I could just take NEI out of Forge's mods files and it would be fine. Since Forge was the only one using it, I took out CodeChickenCore too. But, the problem persisted.
Oh, and, I'm on Ubuntu 11.10, 32-bit, running OpenJDK Runtime 7.
