Just because some people are having trouble installing texture packs on Mac, I made a little script to install it for you. Now this thing is really simple, but there needs to be a few things present. The texture pack must NOT require MCPatcher. It should be able to run completely vanilla. Another condition is that the Minecraft application needs to be in the Applications folder (~/Applications) . And this will only work on MAC. Otherwise you're good to go.
