So I'm new.I bought minecraft a few days ago.The weird thing is when I opened minecraft then force updated I had no minecraft folder.I use mac OX Lion.I also had another folder named Minecraft with cracked minecraft in it could have this caused the problem?Because there was probably no other way to rename the minecraft folder.Should I delete the cracked minecraft folder then reload minecraft and then will my minecraft folder be there? Please help thankyou!

Could you explain what you mean by 'Minecraft' folder, Do you mean where the minecraft launch files are located or something else?

Yeah where the texture pack folder is and the bin and if you use forge a mods folder will come and coremods folder will come. The main point of this is, is to get the folder so I can install the mods.So yes where all those are stored.Thankyou!

Thanks for trying to helpIs this because I had a folder named minecraft with just cracked minecraft.jar in it?Please help thankyou!I would be grateful for a quick, working soloution
By reinstalling do you mean delete minecraft and minecraft.jar and then installing it again?
I think he does. Anywho, by "Minecraft Folder" do you mean your ".minecraft" folder? Does Minecraft launch properly? If so it's probably there, and you could go into your texture pack folder in game and go into your .minecraft from there.
EDIT: This should be in support, a mod can move it for you

~/Libary/Application\ Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar
Hopefully you can use that to locate it
