Afraid not, this worked for me. I don't get what your post up there means, that whole easy cheat anti cheat thing. Do you know what exactly that is?
Ninja edit: Can you try install MC and give me the actual error you get from that big wall of text when things start loading and installing?
First i am trying to open the launcher and a page of Java who calls minecraft launcher opens.
then in this page you can see many writed things , here a pic for you : ( if you can't see my picture add me in skype and help me : shon155 )
Hey Shon, can you tell me what anti virus software you are running? Could you also navigate your way to:
C:\Users\<insert your username here>\AppData\Roaming
You may not be able to see that file if it's hidden, if it is hidden then follow these steps:
*Open "Computer" Click Organise in this menu click "Folders and Search Options"
*In the window that has opened called "Folder Options" Click the "View" tab.
* In here there is a folder icon that says Hidden Files and Folders, click the one that says "Show hidden files, folders & drives"
This should allow you to see the AppData folder mentioned above.
In the AppData\Roaming folder you will see .minecraft and maybe .tekkit or .ftb in here delete anything to do with Minecraft.
then try the install process again.
I have ESET smart security the last version ( 6 ) .
C:\Users\<Shon>\AppData\Roaming
if you'll come skype or something else it will be easier for me .
please add me it's realy Important .

I assume you are on Windows, you may have a problem with your hosts file, which overrides DNS queries. Please follow the following directions:
Hold down the Windows key, and press R. In the window that appears, type in %SystemRoot%\System32\drivers\etc, and press Enter. In the window that appears you will see a file, "hosts". Open that file in Notepad, and copy the contents here.
I have mac so can someone please give real infomation about both types of computers.mac and pc

I have had this problem also.
I wont even let me run 1.5.2.
However i have fixed this problem!
The problem isn't minecraft AT ALL! I had updated my java to 7.25 and the next day next to nothing was working , mostly minecraft.
What you need to do is
Uninstall Java 7 update 25
Then re install Java 7 update 21 (found here http://www.oldapps.com/java.php if you don't have it in back up)
After it's re installed everything should work like it did.
If this wasn't your problem then i have no clue.
Thank you Thank you Thank you this worked perfectly. Stress level is now gone.
Your Java installation is broken (can't find the SSL code). You'll need to uninstall Java (use the uninstall option, don't just delete it!), then re-install. If you have more than one installation, your should uninstall them all unless you are absolutely certain which one is being used.
I personally use the JDK, which you can get from Apple's dev site. I actually haven't tried fixing the problem with a JRE. But I see no reason why it wouldn't work.
You Windows people usually have to get it via Oracle's site anyway, so you needn't any instruction. And you'll probably be getting Java 7 anyway.
Minecraft WILL run perfectly fine on Java 7 for Mac, it just needs a little tender loving care. Namely, a manually updated LWJGL.
Sorry for the slight bump, but consider this a solution that may prevent some further posts.

I simply had to reinstall Java. If you're running Mac OS then you don't even have to uninstall it first.
Minecraft is programed to use Java 6 when running on Mac OS.
You can get the (currently latest version of) Java 6 for Mac here:

or here if you're still on Snow Leopard:
