I have been running Windows 7 on my ASUS laptop for awhile; however, I quickly took a liking the the look of Linux. For awhile I was using CrunchBang, which ran Minecraft great, (#!); Crunchbang is a lesser known Linux. Today I decided to upgrade to OpenSUSE for the support and new features.
So, thinking it would run because Java runs on Linux, I got Minecraft. I installed OpenJDK 7, and attempted to run Minecraft using this .sh:
Minecraft boots up and starts downloading just fine. However, after the download finishes the screen turns black and this is appears in the Terminal window.

The Minecraft.jar is NOT modded whatsoever. It is freshly downloaded.
Thank you for your time, and help.
NOTE: I can go back to CrunchBang if necessary, but I prefer the features of OpenSUSE a lot.
