Hey! I really need help. My Minecraft keeps randomly freezing, in single player, and in multiplayer. This is extremely annoying when I'm trying to record something, or when I'm in PVP... I always end up dying because of this... And Minecraft is always running at 55-80 fps, so it's not like I have a bad laptop or anything. (Yes, I'm using a laptop) I just bought this laptop, and it is better than my desktop, so I don't know why it keeps freezing! My desktop never freezes, which is very, very annoying. I don't know why it is doing this, but please, I'm need help! I appreciate any tips you guys have to say. Thanks a lot! Also, it doesn't fully crash, it just freezes for about 30 seconds every 5-10 minutes (VERY ANNOYING ! )
Ahh, I see. Well, are you playing the latest Minecraft update? If so try this. Reinstall the latest version of Java. After doing so, re-download the Minecraft.exe to your desktop(the background not desktop computer). Then right click when it asks to Run and hit Run As..select Administrator. After hitting Run As administrator, above the 'Login' button it should say options. Hit 'Options > Force Update' After selecting 'Force Update' the box should turn white/gray then X out of that. Hit login, then wait for the Minecraft to update. Try that. If not please come back and tell me what happens, I'll try my best to find out more on this subject.
Thank you for choosing me for your MC Support.

Well there could be a few solutions that you can try. (1). You can try downloading the latest version of Catalyst for you ATI Card. (2). Are you a premium member, meaning did you buy Minecraft or is this a cracked version? Don't lie. (3). Try watching this video, and following the instructions, tell me how it goes.
For further questions please reply to this topic, or send me a message to my inbox. Leave feedback aswell.

Download latest version of Java here ---> http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp
Then delete your Minecraft.exe on your desktop. Redownload it here. ---> http://www.minecraft.net/download
After completing both of those steps (Make sure Java is fully installed (Go through all steps)
Go to the start button. Which is this button in the bottom left hand corner of your screen on the bar at the lowest point on the screen.
Click on this button
Once the box pops up, into the search box I want you to type in %appdata% then go into the Roaming folder. You will see .minecraft folder. If you had any world saves, copy and paste them to your desktop for easy access and to not lose your worlds.
Then go back out into the roaming folder and delete the .minecraft folder.
After that, run the Minecraft.exe as Administrator, type in your username and password then hit Options > Force update. X out of that box and proceed to hit Login. Start a new world for now and see if it works. If all goes well, drag your world save folders from your desktop to your new saves folder within the .minecraft folder.
Tell me if that works.
Always happy to help, please leave feedback positive or negative whichever chosen on my profile.

I'm not sure I'm sorry, type in on Google 'hs err pid Minecraft fix'. You could try typing that in on YouTube for a wider selection aswell. Good luck, wish I could help but I don't usually encounter problems like this. Sorry buddy. If you need anything else though, remember to post on this topic, or message me in my inbox.

Ahh, well go to Minecraft.net and under Play Singleplayer hit |Download then download Minecraft.exe to your desktop. When opening Minecraft from your desktop above where it says Login, hit Options. Then hit force update. The box will turn white/gray and will no longer be clickable. X out of that box. Type in your username and password, and hit login. It should load perfectly fine. Good luck!

Hi. I purchased Minecraft for PC earlier this morning. I have been trying over and over for the past 10 or 20 minutes to access the game. I have downloaded the client to the desktop, ran it as Administrator, hit "Force Update" in options, tried using the browser version, I updated Java and restarted my computer, redownloaded the client and tried the browser. Each time I try to update its says "Downloading packages" and will freeze at various stages. I've seen 0%, 33, 14, 68, 44%, etc etc. The percentages are random when it freezes. Any ideas?
Alright not sure if you can help me or not. Anyway I went mod hunting and downloaded mods and got them all to work and after i finally finished and started playing, i realized something terrible. Quite a few things are dropping the wrong item, for example the grass is dropping a scaffold (from IC2 or buildcraft), the sugar cane drops some sapling, and when i try and craft sticks i end up crafting an assembly bench (buildcraft). So I was wondering if there was any way you could tell me how to fix this problem or if its just because I tried to get too many mods to work together. I have: Modloader, ModloaderMP, Forge, OptiFine, Rei minimap, armorstand, audio mod, custom mob spawner, DrZharks Mo' Creatures, Extrabiomes, GuiAP, ID resolver, IDRpatch, InvTweaks, Jammy Furniture, Littleblocks, Player API, Secret Rooms, Shelf, Sparrow110, Stuffed animals, EE, Smart moving, Mine and blade, extended workbench, battle towers, better farming, better dungeons, buildcraft core and extras, craftguide, Doggytalents, IC2, fossil mod, Iron chests, red power core, reptiles, tropicraft. I know thats a lot...and I hate to ask for help but im not too sure what to do but I feel like its just some ID mix up thing, possibly caused by the ID resolver... anywho thanks if you can help and if not thanks for trying.

Go to the start menu, in the search box type %appdata%. Hit enter, go to your Roaming folder, and then you'll see your .minecraft folder. Delete that. ( Will lose saved worlds ) Once deleted open the Minecraft.exe on your desktop, Run as administrator. Type in your username/password, go to Options > Force update. X out of that box. Proceed to Login. DO IN THAT EXACT ORDER. It should work perfectly fine. If not, it's possibly your ATI Card.

I'm definite that these problems are occurring because of the amount of mods put into your game at once. If you're looking for a bunch of mods. Try the 'tekkit' pack, or the YogBox. Those mods all work perfectly fine together. Delete your .minecraft folder (Will lose your saves unless copy and paste them to desktop) and your mods will all be gone. Now you'll have to choose 1-3 Mods that you actually like, but be careful cause alot of mods don't sync and work well with others.

I did this all step by step. When I click on "Run as Admin" the screen does it's darken effect with the Yes/No pop up. After clicking yes the screen remains dark and nothing happens. The only way to get it out of that state is to open the task manager via ctrl+alt+del.

I'm not sure then. Can't really help now. Since none of that worked, it's your computer definitley.

Thank you for choosing me for your MC Support.
- Smithite."
Well I deleted Minecraft.exe and downloaded it again, I don't know how to reinstall java so I clicked run as administrator and forced update and it still froze on me. Can you tell me how to do it step by step please... I'm sorry to be a bother, but it is very frustrating because I just got this laptop...
The best of the Minecraft Support,
- Smithite.
MC Lone Support,
- Smithite.
Top Lone Minecraft Support Service,

i keep getting the "cant connect to minecraft.net" message. i have never been able to play minecraft before on this account. when i try to play in browser i get the same loading issue as the guy above where is simply stops just before its done loading. i updated java and the problem persisted. any reply at all would be appreciated. i have paid for this game and i would hate to think it a waste of money =/
Good luck!

Here try this. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1215152-125soundz-enhanced-sound-control-25-optionsmodloaderguiapi/
And simply check if your sound is on mute.
It looks like your video driver is Java access it. Try updating your Java and Video Driver.
Is there any other method?
Install 'Winsock Fix' and delete RelevantKnowledge go to Task manager and look for program called 'rlvknlg.exe' and end/delete it.
