Alright, this is simple enough to explain. After playing for close to 30 minutes, I'll run into a problem with my inventory. I can no longer drag and drop my items. Rather, if I right OR left click them, they instantly jump to my crafting grid. I tried searching for this problem through the forums, but I had no luck. If someone has encountered this problem before, I'd be eternally grateful for some friendly minecraft-mate assistance. If not, maybe a fix could be introduced at a later date.

Ah it's like the shift+click feature? Just save, then completely restart minecraft. (Close the window then open a new one) It should be fixed. By the way, this should go into Support. Not sure what to do if it happens more then once in awhile though.
I too have some weird problems with Minecraft and sticky keys. I don't think it's my keyboard, because it doesn't do this for any other programs, but my Steve sometimes gets stuck on auto-run. It seems to happen when entering/exiting my inventory. Sometimes it actually works out in my favour, because autorun can be useful; it would just be nice to be able to control when it works and when it doesn't.

Thanks!

But in all seriousness, it could be that your shift key is a little stuck or something. See if you're typing fine, not sneaking, etc.
