You could call it "Anchor" and basically it goes on a sword, a bow, crossbow, or mining tool. Having "Anchor" on your bow would allow me to snipe a skeleton from like 50 ft but have all of the xp generated fly into my character still bc of the enchantment (: i think this would be really cool even if its just a bow enchantment

I think it's an interesting idea but it needs some reworking.
For example why would you want "Anchor" on a sword when you can just pick up the XP in front of you. Maybe you could make it so that only long range weapons could utilize this enchantment?
I feel like just reworking how experience particles would be a better alternative, because I honestly am not sure this is worth the enchantment. Just alter experience particles so they will fly to the player irrespective of distance

That would be visually pleasant. I wonder why the dev's implemented exp orbs.
It's not like exp is an actual item (exept from bottle o' enchanting), so why pick it up?
And then there are orbs that somehow get stuck in your exp farm...
You can't even design a trading hall without keeping the orbs in mind.
