Minecraft Update Ideas[/p]
(Netherite inspired) Reinforced armor. Upgrades chainmail armor, using copper and iron and makes ur reinforced. Use 4 copper ingots and 4 iron ingots to make a metal cram that u then smelt in a blast furnace to make a reinforced metal bar. Apply it on the table that makes diamond armor into netherite. The stat changes are: helmet from 2 defence to 3 defence and 3 toughness chestplate from 5 defence to 7 defence and 4 toughness, leggings from 4 defence to 6 defence and 4 toughness, boots from 1 defence to 2 defence and 3 toughness. And has same durability as diamond[/p]
The difference is:[/p]
Reinforced:[/p]
9 armor bars (18 armor points)[/p]
14 toughness (14 points)[/p]
Diamond:[/p]
10 armor bars (20 points)[/p]
8 toughness (8 points)[/p]
Netherite:[/p]
10 armor bars (20 points)[/p]
12 toughness (12 points)[/p]
So effectively on average reinforced is the same thing as netherite but more focused on toughness rather than armor points[/p]
With 1 more toughness on the chestplate and one more on the leggings.[/p]
Also the extra bonus that reinforced armor gives is that enemies that hit u get sent back. Kinda like thorns but it’s like if u actually hit them but without doing dmg.[/p]
Also!!! A new upgrade to gold armor![/p]
Using 4 amethyst crystals and 4 emeralds around a gold ingots makes a very shiny rock which when u surround a gold piece with it it becomes a Shiny Gold piece. The pieces each have a unique stat.[/p]
The changes in stats is:[/p]
Boots from 1 armor point to 2 and 1 toughness, helmet from 2 armor points to 3 and 1 toughness, chestplate from 5 armor points to 6 and 2 toughness, and leggings from 3 points to 4 and 2 toughness.[/p]
With the total stats being:[/p]
7.5 armor bars (15 points) [/p]
And 6 toughness (6 points)[/p]
The extra stats:[/p]
Helmet: +0.5 damage[/p]
Chestplate: +15% damage reduction[/p]
Leggings: +1 jump height (0.5 block higher and with jump boost 2 u will be able to jump 3 blocks)[/p]
Boots: +15% speed (making the max speed without soul speed 155%)[/p]
(P.S. Durability massively increased to 60% of diamond)[/p]
Number 2: tools![/p]
Reinforced items have the following stats[/p]
Sword: 1.5 atk speed 8.5 atk dmg[/p]
Hoe: 4.5 atk dmg 3.7 atk speed and its slower than netherite but faster than diamond[/p]
Pickaxe: slower than netherite faster than diamond but efficiency 5 is more effective on it so when it has efficiency 5 its same speed as eff 5 netherite[/p]
Shovel: same as above[/p]
Axe: same as above and has 0.9 atk speed with 11.5 dmg[/p]
Durability = diamond[/p]
Shiny items:[/p]
Sword: 1.7 atk speed 6.5 atk dmg[/p]
Pickaxe: same as netherite (still can’t break ores that an iron one can)[/p]
Shovel: same as above[/p]
Axe: same as above now has 1.1 atk speed with 9.5 atk dmg[/p]
Hoe: 3.5 atk dmg 4.3 atk speed [/p]
Bonuses:[/p]
Sword: deals -15% knockback[/p]
Axe: +20% longer shield block[/p]
Hoe: +30% armor shred[/p]
Pickaxe: +10% mining speed[/p]
Shovel: +10% digging speed[/p]
#3 Enchant Changes:[/p]
Hoes can now get all combat enchants besides sharpness[/p]
(Yes and the sword exclusives)[/p]
Bows can get piercing instead of power[/p]
Crossbows can have punch[/p]
And maybe flame.[/p]
Tridents can get piercing instead of impaling but only when not having channeling or riptide.[/p]
(Hoes are meant to be melee weapons before the player has access to sharp 5 and stuff like that but even after it can still be used for withers and zombies. As long as zombified nether mobs)[/p]
#4 comparison of previous and new gear:[/p]
Reinforced armor has more toughness but less armor defence to make it on average equal to netherite[/p]
Reinforced armor also pushes enemies that hit u instead of netherite which makes u take less knockback.[/p]
Reinforced tools compared to netherite.[/p]
Axe and swords have +0.5 damage but -0.1 atk speed (cause they are heavy)[/p]
Hoes have +0.5 dmg but -0.3 atk speed.[/p]
On average reinforced tools are the same as netherite but they are slower and hit more heavy which applies to the axe audience of the game.[/p]
Now shiny gold armor vs diamond[/p]
Shiny Gold armor has the same armor points as iron armor but with enough toughness to in total have 21 armor points when diamond has 28.[/p]
Shiny gold armor also has -40% durability.[/p]
But shiny gold armor has bonuses[/p]
Which make u jump 0.5 blocks higher[/p]
15% faster[/p]
Do 0.5 more dmg (super good using a hoe when the player doesn’t have access to high lvl sharpness)[/p]
And gives u damage reduction (which applies to true damage and makes it even closer with diamond)[/p]
So what we end up with is a set worse than diamond with utility like: more mobility more damage and true dmg reduction[/p]
Now to compare the weapons:[/p]
The weapons are iron ones with 0.5 damage and a little bit more attack speed.[/p]
On average they should be worse than diamond but comparable due to the bonuses. Axe and hoe bonuses are only rly useful in pvp. The sword bonus is super useful in pvp but also helps on the normal game.[/p]

FINAL CHANGES:[/p] Hoes got drastically buffed.[/p] The stats are below:[/p]
Wooden: 1.5 atk damage 4 attack speed[/p] Golden: 1.5 atk damage 5 atk speed [/p] Stone 2.5 atk damage 4 atk speed[/p] Iron: 3 atk damage 4 atk speed[/p] Shiny golden: 3.5 atk dmg 4.5 atk speed (+30% armor shred)[/p] Diamond: 4 atk dmg 4 atk speed[/p] Reinforced: 4.5 atk dmg 3.7 atk speed [/p] Netherite: 4 atk dmg 4.3 atk speed[/p]
Idk how to fix the /p stuff. For anyone wondering it means that I pressed enter on that point
