First off, I'd like to see mods that add such additions that I am stating to become fully integrated into the game.
We need another dimension, it's been a long time since the Nether was added to the game, and my idea is that we curate in a mod called The Midnight made by the Cryptic Mushroom Team. It's a fantastic mod that fits vanilla gameplay like a charm, and you access the dimension by finding a portal at night, and to leave the dimension, you must find another portal and hope that it is night in the Overworld.
Oh, you can be dragged in by the portal guards as well if you aren't careful.
We need an expansion on the technological standpoint in Minecraft. I feel like muskets and flintlocks could be added, but that is as far as I think it should go. Hunter's Dream, a mod that adds vampires and muskets, and even a flintlock pistol, is something I could totally see in the game.
Another expansion on the End with the Endergetic Expansion mod, it adds only one biome at the moment, but it's still a fantastic mod.
A desert update would be nice. We could add in sandstorms just like we blizzards, except very sandy. We could also add in sub biomes to the desert such as an Oasis, Dunes, and even flat desert Plains.
Give the gameplay some love too. We really need at least a bit of an update of the graphics. Enhance the sun/moon textures, and add in some small, and of course, optional effects like waving foliage, sun rays, but nothing insane or crazy, something to fit Minecraft. I also request that the third person camera be changed to a more over the shoulder like perspective, and the first person gameplay should be more than just a hand being there. It should be more immersive, but not disgustingly immersive to where people get sick from being in first person mode. It should include things such as a actual viewmodel, better knockback and damage effects, and as for the player, add facial expressions to show if they are hurt, hungry, etc.
-I could go on and on, but look at the modding community, it's massive, and it has loads of things for Mojang to use to build off of. Just look, and take a pick on what to add/enhance.
