Aquatic update was amazing. Now it’s time to introduce a serious threat to the waters of Minecraft. Aside from Guardians, who you can avoid entirely. Sharks would roam all of the oceans in Minecraft, but are most prominent around sunken ships. If you should kill a Shark, there teeth could be collected for crafting unique weapons or trinkets.
- Shark tooth spear
- Shark tooth dagger
- Shark tooth necklace (gives the player certain perks for underwater exploration.)
2. Forest Golem
The forest of Minecraft are pretty vacant. Forest Golems would introduce a serious threat for exploring the wooded areas of Minecraft. Day or Night. Each Forest Golem would be unique to a specific biome. Possibly some Forest Golems would ignore you entirely until you start gathering wood. While most will attack without hesitation. They give major damage and take little in return. Your reward for going head to head with one of these creatures could range from;
- Golem bark, which can be applied to your Shield for boosted protection. (Golem bark would be non repairable to prevent it from being too OP.)
- Golem dust that you can craft into a strength potion perhaps.

I like these ideas, both equally. For the shark idea, could be different types of shark for different biomes / water types. Maybe different difficulty levels for battling certain types of sharks.
Agreed. Also, a new recipe could be added to the game for crafting Shark Chum. To throw Sharks off your tail. Or even a way to summon Dolphins to come to your aid when your waste deep in trouble.
A bucket of chum? Oh man, I bet that item looks awful! That would lead to waaaay too much fun! Wait for your friends to go to bed, standing over them with a bucket of guts....
"I told you what was going to happen you keep taking my coal like that..."
Unfortunately I’ve heard the same about Sharks. Did they give a reason why? As for the Forest Golem. I fear there might be too many issues for them when they spawn in game. Knowing how clunky Iron Golems are, the potential problems for Forest Golems spawning in game would range from spawning in between trees and becoming stuck. Possibly spawning in a tree and dying a slow and horrific death. So unless they come up with new parameters for large mobs or downsize this potential mob. I fear it won’t work.
I see. It’s a PR decision. Their reasonings are a little insulting to their player base. I understand Minecraft has a wide range of players, from children to adults. But I sincerely doubt that incorporating any real animal in to a game as a hostile mob is going to inspire anyone, child or adult. To suddenly want to cause harm to that animal out of fear. That being said. I’m guessing this decision is based off of an incident involving a Parrot and a cookie? Inspired by Minecraft? So from a business perspective. I guess I can understand...

Don't worry, I'm a doctor.
