Jungle one of most beautiful biomes. It is my favorite. Also, it is rare. It is hard to find Jungles, so finding it must be truly rewarding for player. Today, Jungles feel still empty. I suggest to add more flora and fauna to it.
1) Piranhas are aggressive mobs that spawns in jungle rivers. They represented by group of small fishes. You can attract nearby piranhas by throwing raw meat in the water. Rotten (monster) meat will kill them, though.
2) Gorillas are neutral and rare mobs. Jungle equivalent for white bears: will attack if you come close to their babies. But also they will attack if you look them in the eyes! (Yes, just like Enderman). This is gorillas natural behaviour in the real world.
3) Flamingo. Those are beautiful and elegant tropical birds. They could spawn in pink and white variants. They can be added to Savanna biome, also.
4) Purple Orchid. Orchid is a natural flower for Jungle in real life. So it would make sence to add it to Jungle biome. You can obtain Purple Dye from it (now you can only craft it combining blue and red).
5) Corn is a traditional crop for America continent. Native Americans didn't grow wheat. So, you can find corn in jungle villages instead of wheat.
6) Palm trees. It is rumored that palm trees are on their way to the game. I think they should be added to Jungles also, as mini biomes like bamboo forest, or single standing trees inside tropical trees.
7) Jelly fish spawns in warm ocean biome, that must surround Jungles. They spawn in groups in different sizes. They drop slime ball (small chance). They are passive, but if you touch them - you get damage as from sweet berry bush.
8) Much larger Jungle temples (equivalent of wooden mansions) with some unique mobs (skeletons dressed in Maya\Aztec\Inca fashion )
Jungles in real world is a very dangerous place! In Minecraft it most safest place, though. So let jungles be more dangerous because of natural fauna.
And Jungles must spawn close to hot biomes. Such as Dessert and Savanna. It is strange to see icebergs near Jungle beaches. Jungles must be surrounded by warm ocean.
And last thing: Parrots should sit at your shoulder when you sit in the boat. Unfortunately, parrots stop follow you when you swim, so you can`t take them overseas now.
