Ok, so we've all had or likely will have that constant issue where you want to put, oh say, a piston-controled door in one area, but the way your castle's been built means it can't be wired properly with the pressure plates you want it to connect to. You just want the button you push here to activate the mechanism over there!
So, here's my proposal: Ender-redstone, which works like redstone, but transmits the signal across a plane.
Enderstone: Created by surrounding a redstone block in enderpearls, this turns it into an enderpearl block, which can be broken down to 9 ender-dust.
Ender-pearl block: Place one of these down and run a redstone signal into it. You can then left click the Ender-pearl block to change it's frequency. Frequency is composed of what item you put into the block. For example, putting in a single spruce stair means that any signal imputed will connect to any ender dust torches in range that's been combined with spruce stair.
Ender-dust torches: These are the receiving halves of ender-pearl blocks. Like ender-pearl blocks they can hold a single item to determine it's frequency.
Ender-dust: This has only crafting purposes right now.
Ender-repeaters: When an Ender-pearl block transmits it's frequency it will transmit the highest frequency entering it from any side across the normal amount of blocks it travels. SO, if you have a max signal of 8 entering it, the block can transmit to a torch 7 blocks away, to increase this range, simply construct an ender-repeater which serves the same purpose as a redstone repeater, but for the frequency of ender-redstone. Place it, in this case, within the 7-block radius and then the signal will transfer for twice the distance. I should mention that the signal does NOT grow stronger or weaker when passed through a ender-repeater. So if you put in a signal with a power of 8, the receiving end will always emit a signal of 7.
This could revolutionize redstone structures in both survival and creative builders! What do you think?
i think we should all use common sense and logic when we answer and ask a question but always stay open minded
just cause science fails to explain something does not mean its real (afterlife, big foot, ghosts etc..) does not mean its fake try to stay opened mined instead of closed
It does, you need an ender pearl repeater to extend farther then the amount of blocks then the amount originally limited to (so you need a repeater within 7 blocks of a Ender-pearl block that's getting a redstone signal with the power of 8.
This also gives me an idea: A remote
Endstone torch on top of a stone button and stone filling the rest. Left clicking it brings up what frequency you want it to be set to. Right clicking would send a signal to any block within the same or nearby chunk(s). Like a button you can push from anywhere!
What is blue-stone? It sounds like some kind of polar opposite to red-stone....
it was some big thread of a red stone mix that kinda acted like this

Time-travel mod request! (It's long over-due and would be fantastic!)
