I've switched minecraft over to use the AMD graphics card as the integrated graphics card gives me an FPS of around 15 when recording. Now I get decent framerate, but green pixels flickering all over the recording. These aren't present in the game itself, just the recording. Does anybody have any ideas on a workaround, be it changing settings or an alternate free recording software? Ideally I don't want to drop below 720p recording quality.
My video encoding settings are set at their defaults for the x264 encoder. Switching to the Quick Sync encoder has no effect. As for resolution, downscaling has no effect on the appearance of these lines.

From what I understand, it is an issue with some AMD graghics and OpenGL games, like Minecraft.
I could only find this on the web, it might help. https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/green-pixels-ruining-stream.35304/
I would make sure that you are running the latest drivers from AMD, just in case that is the issue.
Not sure if this would do anything, but maybe changing the Video Adapter in OBS to your AMD card might help.
I know this is an old thread, but if you haven't found a solution I may have one for you. If you open your AMD radeon settings and go to Gaming and the Global Settings and then turn on OpenGL Triple Buffering, it should fix your problem. (As it fixed mine)
Hi All,
I've recently got a new laptop with an AMD Radeon R7 M360 graphics card, using OBS to record. (This one: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/laptops/lenovo-ideapad-500-15-6-laptop-white-10137915-pdt.html).

You could try out Quick Sync because your are using your Intel Graphics aren't really being used. What settings on OBS are you using?
