Hello, I know there are a lot of threads like this but none of them apply to me, I want to record my minecraft gameplay but when I start recording my FPS go down to 20, I know it is normal that the FPS drop but I dont really think that it should drop that much, doesnt matter what I do with my settings it will always stay at 20 FPS, I usually run in a public server like MCSG at 78 when not recording. This has been happening since I restarted my pc 2 months ago and I have tried a lot of things with no success.
Specs:
Record with Mirilis Action (Pro)
16 Gb of Ram (6 of them applied to minecraft)
My display adapters are NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti and Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600
My speed test came out with a ping of 6ms, a download speed of 50.51Mb and an upload speed of 10.83Mb
Intel i5
I have optifine
I really hope that someone can help me, any advice is appreciated!
My Mirilis wasnt set to avi but I already set it that way.
About the write speed I ran a test and it tells me that my HDD has a write speed of 193Mb per second. Do you think that is the problem? if it is, can I use an external HDD to record?
As I mentioned I know that FPS drop when recording but I know that it shouldnt go that low, I am pretty sure that there are some people that record with software and can get up to 60 FPS or maybe even more. Lets start off with the youtubers.

I've never heard of Mirilis, but if it's like Sony Vegas, it should allow files to be saved in different places.
It took the FPS up to 25, I dont really know what the máximum should be, do you have any speculations of how many FPS should my computer have while recording based on the specifications?
My speculations…this is a really tough one. Your i5 processor. is it a dual or a quad core? and how many GHZ does it have? If its a quad core (4 cores) with example: 3.40ghz I would say you can record Minecraft easily on 30fps and even higher on the same HDD but once again this all depends on your hardware. If you have a i5 dual core with 2.66ghz and record on the same HDD than its very possible that your stuck at 30fps or below.

Thanks

To prevent this use a capture card on your computer (Elgato, Happuage HD PVR, etc.).

It is a quad core with 3.10 GHz
