Hey guys, I just wanted to ask out there if anyone knows of any free screen recorders that are legit (no virus/malwares attached),not limited on video length, and records good quality files in small Mb sizes. I currently use Microsoft Encoder 4 but I feel like there might be better programs out there that you guys know about. Let me know, thanks.

I've been using Free Online Screen Recorder. No virus, no time limit, no watermark. As far as I know, this is a pretty good free recorder.

I recommend these tools concerning some popular screen recording tools you may need for help.

Are you using an AMD or Nvidia card? Both have free ways of recording, Raptr and Shadowplay respectively.
