So i have started to try and record minecraft gamepla with Open Broadcaster Software.
However the video quality is blurry and hazy. i have tried messing with the bitrate, quality of video, nothing. the video is always blurred. Please help!

an example would probably help, so we know what -kind- of blurry (sounds silly, but there are indeed different kinds of blurriness/pixelation and causes of it)
Another thing worth asking though... are you using OBS to resize the video to a specific dimension? because OBS generally works best and produces the clearest image when you're recording 1:1.

when i recorded previously i was checking the stretch to screen box, i unchecked it and it looked clearer but now it is just back to being blurry.
and the type of blurriness is like the game is being forced into a different resolution

You should try bringing it up to like 10000.
i set the bitrate to 10000 and the quality is still blurry
