I have 2 msi lightning graphics cards and an 8 thread quad-core i7 2600k, 8GB Ram. I get average 500FPS. When I record, I get like 10-11 FPS, and I don't know why!
recording works fine on my laptop just for like school and stuff)
(500FPS FANCY GRAPHICS, MAX SMOOTH LIGHTING, VIEW BOBBING ON, AND ALL ANIMATIONS)
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME FIX IT SO I CAN RECORD.
PS. ITS NOT JUST MINECRAFT THAT LAGGS!!!
Maybe it's a bit late but I would like to help you...
Which software do you use to record? I suggest to use something like Bandicam if you don't metter about logos or time recordings limitations...
Or This one (You need to compile your own the latest beta version from SourceForge if you don't want to show your mouse) Taksi screen recoreder on SourceForge
My problem is I get a solid instant feedback when not screen recording but when I start it drops and strafe has a lag behind so I struggle to play games on camera

If it does then try this one(I have one GB of Ram and got 16fps at maximum) CamStudio - Free Streaming Video Desktop Recording Software
Or This one (You need to compile your own the latest beta version from SourceForge if you don't want to show your mouse) Taksi screen recoreder on SourceForge
Or just navigate here and find the one you prefear Screen Capture softwares on SourceFourge
And remember to close every other software that's not minecraft, because they only remove Ram to it
Try also Optifine and BetterFPS they work both on Vanilla and Forge versions.
Hope I helped
