As I listen to gameplay videos, I'm bugged by the static and background noise plaguing each video.
Sometimes it's not noticable unless the volume's cranked up past 11, sometimes it's all I can hear.
Regardless, I find it a bit off-putting that people don't take the 6 minutes of time to edit the audio and clean it up a bit.
So, I made this tutorial to show how to clean up gameplay audio in Audacity.
This is assuming you're using Fraps or something OTHER than Audacity to record the audio, if you're using Audacity I figure you already know what you're doing, right? Or maybe not.
Heck, I would edit audio for people just to make them sound better, but even if the static is barely audible, people should take the time and do it right.
