Hello there! A month ago I hit my 50 subscriber milestone, in which I released a minigame, called TNT Offs. I made what I would call an effortless logo at the time. However, I am nearing my 2nd milestone, the 100 subscriber special. When that day comes, I will be releasing an updated version of the map, TNT Offs v2.0. This time, I would like to have a much better suitable logo for the map.
I have a friend, under the name of Voxelizer, who aided me in making a logo. We clearly have individual styles, since we presented two completely different logos. We are unsure of which is better for the minigame.
We would love your unbiased opinion to finally agree on a logo. If you've made a decision, please tell us which is better and why. What are the qualities and flaws in each of them? Thank you for your time, this is quite significant to us.
Here is the first logo:
Here is the second logo:

I think the first one is the way to go, despite the second one looking better. for the second logo, the words don't catch your eyes as the first logo's words do. Just deductive reasoning.

After about the 10th comment on a thread, no one pays attention to what you have to say. ):
I think that both of the logos are excellent and are very well done! That being said if i had to choose one I would go with the first one I feel that its a little more appealing to the eye. The second one I feel is just a little to simple. I hope this helps your decision and congrats on almost 100 subs!
Both logos are nice, but the first one is better than the second one for many reasons. The second one is too simple, it lacks detail and presentation. The text is not exactly eye candy in the second one. The first one has a beautiful gradient and and explosion-like back drop. However, it doesn't feel as much 'minecrafty', unlike the second one. I also feel that the two is out of place in the first one, it should be in front of the TNT block. It also has excessive glow filters applied; although it beats no filter at all.
i like both, the first one is more modern and my personal favorite but the second one is more minecraft and could be improved by having a different background.
To be honest, I prefer the second one. It's simpler, as others have clearly stated, but I take that as an upside. It's a more memorable logo through simplicity, and fits in great with Minecraft's overall theme. The first one, however, is very flashy. It involves a lot of complication, something which I don't think any logo should do. It will catch your eye in the first second, but it's very hard to remember after that. If you take a look at almost every popular logo, it's well known because it consists of few simple shapes.
As an example, try to describe each logo, to a friend who is trying to find this minigame.
The first: The logo starts off with some text saying 'TNT' and 'offs' either side of a block of TNT. The block is rendered isometrically, similarly to Minecraft's in-game inventory. All three of these elements are on a purple box, which the block overhangs from. The word 'TNT' glows and has a background image embedded into the text of the Minecraft TNT texture. The 'offs' half has some sort of orange goo-like effect covering the text, which is red. Both pieces of text are in Minecraft's title font and are bordered with black. Behind the purple background is a round explosion centered on the block of TNT. It takes the colours and shape of what would be considered a supernova or similar, in purple, red and yellow. To the right of the purple box there is a large number two, which is in yellow Minecraft in-game font and is glowing somewhat. The whole thing is on a black background.
The second: The logo consists of two blocks of TNT in the centre. One block of TNT, which is about five times bigger than the other, is at about 45 degrees to the screen so two sides can be seen. On the right-most side, the word 'TNT' is replaced with the word 'offs'. The other block of TNT stands in front of the other and to the right side, and at a similar angle. On the right face it says 'V2', and on the left it says nothing. Behind the blocks there are Minecraft's explosion particles and a blue background. Above the logo there is text in Minecraft's font that says 'Aary33 presents...'
Of course, I've written way more than you would ever need to, but notice how much longer the first description was than the second one. It's just way too cluttered, in my opinion.
(also, I would suggest removing the 'Aary33 presents...' from the top of the second logo. It distracts from the main logo and doesn't really need to be there).

It's in my signature.
The second one isn't too bad, but it's a little bit too simple for my tastes.
Thanks for your opinion!
