Ohh this would be great to learn, and personally I would love to as well! I do have a few tips for you first, you should look at drawing in general as that could help quite signifigantly then you can practice doing that on a tablet also feel free to add me on skype (giselle.tobaku) or PM me to talk more!
Can you tell me if you use photoshop or some other program, because I use paint.net and I certainly do not have the expand 2 pixels tool, I just fill it in by hand. And also, if you could send me some examples of your art? It helped a bit, by I, myself, already knew most of those tips, but thank you, for the help!
1. To start, draw an outline or a rough sketch of what you want. It doesn't have to be detailed. I, myself, use templates I drew long ago and trace over them.
P
2. Depending on what type of tablet/program you are using, you start the main sketch/outline. It will appear in your final copy, but sometimes if you really want no black you can change the lines to what colorthe will be. Make sure to have them fully erased and the rough sketch not visible anymore.
3. Start the basic colors of your art. Don't add shading, just what colors and where they should be. I'd use a paint/fill bucket on this if it is highly accurate, but if not trace it then fill.
4. Start to finally shade and add different colors, and remember to keep the base colors involved too.
5. Very important: KEEP the colors INSIDE the tracings. And look for any blank/white areas that may show.
You're done!
Remember this is for beginners/people becoming semi-professional.
1. Create a rough sketch of what you're going to draw. Don't stress over the shape of lines, it's only a sketch.
2. Great! Now you have a sketch, which is the main essential of drawing. Now, if you're using a digital art program, take a picture of your sketch (if it's on paper) and import it to your computer.
3. Make an outline of your drawing on a NEW layer! I recommend FireAlpaca, PaintToolSAI, or Adobe Illustrator.
4. Make some new layers under your line, remove the picture layer, and color.
It's reccomended to start off with a pen, pencil and paper so you can get the motions and it becomes muscle memory. Focus on perspective.
Then once you can draw boxes/minecraft characters in perspective switch to digital art, you'll have the motions memorized and now all you need to do is learn the programs and get used to the work flow. Later on you'll get to know shortcuts and tricks to speed up your work-flow.
Here's some programs/software:
Krita
FireAlpaca
Gimp
MyPaint
Inkscape Illustrator
Artrage MediBanG Paint Pro

I'd love to share some tips for everyone!

Thank you.. that helped a lot!
Also I wanted to mention AutoDesk Sketchbook is a very nice simple drawing tool.
It's a paid software right?
Yes and no.
In the Android, Itunes, and Windows stores there is a free version and a paid version for about ~$5
I just grabbed up the free one. Thanks, it looks nice. What do you use? Free, or paid?
Free until I get my new surface pro, then I'm going to buy it
Okay. Nice
How to draw, you ask?
1. Create a rough sketch of what you're going to draw. Don't stress over the shape of lines, it's only a sketch.
