For a standard minecraft picture with no shaders, I charge $1.00 to photoshop you into the Minecraft scene. For a Minecraft picture WITH shaders, I charge $3.00 to photoshop you into the scene. However, there are also things you can add if you wish.
After you send out the request form, you can choose whether to pay me in advance or pay me after I have completed your photo.
If you pay me in advance, your photo will have first priority over those who choose to pay later, thus leading to a faster completion time. Once I complete your photo, I will then send it to you via email.
If you choose to pay after I complete it, I will send you a low resolution thumbnail of it (after completion) to prove that I have, indeed completed your photo. I will then wait for your payment before sending you the full resolution picture.
OK, I'm ready to order! what now?
Please fill out the form below and send it to me via contacts.
-Name (or whatever you want me to call you by)
-Picture you want to use (ex. "pond 3, WITH shaders")
(make sure to point out if you want shaders or default Minecraft graphics... You can also send a picture of your own if you don't want to use the pictures I have provided)
-General location of where you want me to put you on the picture (ex. sitting on the gravel separating the pond and river facing inward to the pond) the more information you give, the more exact I can be. If you don't really care, then you don't have to be so exact and I can place you where I think it looks best but still following information you gave
- Can I use your completed photo as an example or put it on display? (yes or no)
- list of any extra things you would like to add and include their locations
(ex. include a diamond sword in my left hand) and/or (include a creeper behind, but also facing me)
- any notes/requests you want to tell me about or are unclear of
-include a picture of yourself and anything (or anyone) that I can use
That's it! After I receive this email from you, I will email you back saying the price and begin working on it as soon as I can (which will be later that day) and once I finish and you have paid I will send you the full resolution picture (which is 1920p x 1080p).
GUIDE TO TAKING THE RIGHT
PICTURE
When you are taking a picture for this Minecraft photo you purchased from me, there is one primary thing to keep in mind. And that is, you need to think about the camera angle in the background picture I will be photoshopping you into, and the camera angle your camera is getting of you. Try to make sure they match. Now, I can distort your picture quite a bit to make things work, but its a lot easier and looks better if you take a good picture from the start.
To do this, think about how you will pose in the Minecraft background. Lets say you decided to stand facing the side and looking down off the edge or something. When you (or somebody else) takes your picture, make sure that what the camera sees is you standing up facing the side looking down. Try to imagine your actually there.
That's about it. My only other request on your part is to make sure that wherever your taking your picture, make sure there's no light differences on you (like if your under a tree outside, the sunlight may be shining through the tree leaves, creating "patches" of sunlight on you. Please avoid that.) You don't need to worry about the background of where your taking your picture or the actual brightness. (but not too dark or so bright it causes a glare)
If you have any questions, comments or concerns, feel free to email me or post below!
This is pretty awesome! I hope you're going to post examples of what you've done for other people so far (if nothing else, it proves that people are using your service and that you have provided good pictures for them, which should entice more people to take the plunge).
Now I'm debating how sneakily I can get pictures of my nieces and nephews to stick in Minecraft, without letting them know what they're posing for.
As far as taking my own screenshots... I would want a shaders pic but last time I tried to make the shaders mod work it crashed, and upon researching this it appears my video card doesn't work with that mod (sadface). What would it cost to send you a custom world and ask for Shaders-enabled screenshots, so e.g. I could have the kids working the bakery I made, but with cooler effects? And would you be willing to do this with mods or only with vanilla? (Because I would hope for some shots using HarvestCraft crops, or with one of my houses that's full of Bibliocraft shelving and such.)
